I had so many of these as a kid , man i miss this era of being happy
I had one as a kid I don't know what happened to it i lost or stolen or broken I don't know but I remembered it was the one that looks like a game boy transformer( I forgot the name of that transformer)
Is there a more relatable phrase than "I miss this era of being happy" or is it just me?
19:35
Actually the gb micro came out in 2004, several years before this line. So the size worked back then
Man, these figures bring back some good memories. So does this channel!
I only had Booster as a kid. Got him from KB Toys before they closed.
These aren't even particularly expensive, if I didn't have so many other things to work on collecting I'd totally try to get all of these.
Totally understandable. At least you know they'll be there in the future when you do decide to track them down.
how tf do i keep finding you in nearly every comments section i check... you are all over the place
Mitch: “I was missing a few”
Me: “still are”
I love when he brings out the d'cell battery, that is freakin gold 😂🤣😍😆
i bought longview a decade ago to use as cosmos. today he is siege cybertron mode bumblebee.
Once day I found some weird thing, and I was sure it was a transformer but I didn't know which one. After years of waiting it turns out after 7-10+ years it was just Spy Shot 6's right forearm (the clicking part) and I'm so proud I found this out. I can now rest in peace
I like the concept, I would like to see more mundane objects being turn into robots.
I've always loved the Microman branch 1/2 of the first wave of Decepticons were. These take me back.
Got a hit of nostalgia here, I remember owning a few of these as a kid, thanks for reminding me of these great toys
Oh man, I remember having Spy Shot 6 as a kid. My parents bought it for me when we were in a K-Mart MANY years ago. Can't remember what happened to it though. I either donated it to a thrift store or it broke and I threw it away. Seeing it again in this video hit me hard in the nostalgia center of my brain.
Speed Dial: is the camera supposed to be his eye?
Spy Shot 6: Name sounds like a movie, and he reminds of a boxy soldier
Zoom Out: His head's got a design cue of Dinobot 2 but a face similar to Animated Blitzwing
Booster X10: Basically Device Label Laserbeak
Longview: He's got exaggerated superhero proportions
Meantime: May or may not mess up your nervous system like the one that got onto Sam's wrist in Dark of the Moon
Power Up VT6: "HEY! IT'S JETFIRE ON THE POWER UP VT6!!!! YAHOO!!!!!!!!!"
High Score 100: Had Donkey King been part of Microsoft's Rare purchase, having this Xbox 360 esque Transformer painted up like him would be a possibility.
I loved these guys when I was little. They were so cool.
I have all these guys, really liked them. I always thought the controller looked best as a gorilla as well. The micro camera in bot form is so well balanced you can easily pose him on one leg.
These things were cool af back in the day.
I remember playing with these. Man that we a great year for toys.
I had a highscore 100 as a kid, and I always thought he was a gorilla, and posed him leaning forward. I actually just remembered he existed because the Ps5 controller reminded me of them.
Thank you so much for this video. I remember owning high score 100, but I could not recall the name and I also lost the figure. The only part I still owned to decipher his identity was one of the bumper pieces on the controller. Thanks to you I know who he is. Literally so glad this video popped into my recommended.
I used to actually have the Spy Shot 6 figure :) I thought it was hilarious fooling a small group of people thinking it was a camera. Clearly I was the coolest kid lol
The redeco of Booster is Nightbeat; I at one point was trying to paint an extra Animated Soundwave as Blaster with cues from Binaltech Broadcast/Broadblast, with Laserbeak to be painted as Nightbeat with the G1 namesake’s flames, but I never finished working on it
The first dude is Morphtronic from Yu-Gi-Oh! and I will not be dismayed
High Score also has a midsection that can separate to give him a taller stance.
This is what I was going to point out. Yes he does give off an ape vibe but both the alt color pic he showed and the he transformed high score missed the pelvis rotating out giving him a waist swivel and taller stance.
Dude you just made me remember toys I haven’t had in years. Thanks so much for that. What a blast down memory lane.
Crazy I was just cleaning my closet today and found meantime and highscore and I see this video. Also as a kid I too saw a gorilla too.
I remember seeing these at a Burlington store after the movie came out
Real Gear is a great sub-line. I recently completed my set of all eight moulds (I only care about decos if they define important characters) and made sure to have four in each faction. I love how they hark back to the classic thing of transforming into everyday appliances, use lots of transparent plastic, and gave me Unicron Trilogy designs without even realizing it (it makes sense though as they do not have a live-action movie aesthetic at all). Only complaint about them is their silly word-letter-number names but I just simplify those.
I recently sold the green repaint of the gamepad for lots of money on eBay. It was very rare.
You just opened a rabbit hole of childhood memories that I forgot existed
Omg I have no idea why this video was recommended but I deffinitely had booster x10 when i was younger and it was a deep deep memory
i had gotten a longview when he first came out. to this day hes still one of my favs and ya. just love that guy lol
Had these, miss these, bring me back
I have a black decepticon version of the flip phone somewhere.
Fun Fact: Transformers was originally comprised of two separate toylines from Takara: Diaclone, which provided vehicles that transformed into mecha for tiny figures to ride in (aka most of the Autobots and Starscream), and Microman, which provided 1:1 recreations of household objects that could turn into robots (aka most of the Deceptions and Bumblebee).
This series is basically a modern, American-made version of the Microman toys.
Oh yeah, I remember these figures back in 2007 or 2008 because I remember back in the days, I was at a shopping mall with my family, looking fo school supplies and books, and then suddenly in the middle of the shopping mall, I saw a Transformers Toy Booth, and when I go saw it, I saw these figures and the characters from the 2007 movie tie in video game. I saw Swindle, Dropkick, Dreadwing, Payload, and many others Autobot Drones from the games. To me, these figures and the drones figures from the Transformers 2007 video game are probably some of the most creative and interesting ideas Hasbro has ever made. And I actually I do miss the good old days of Transformers toys with tough and strong material, fun gimmicks and electronic functions, and classic auto morph gimmicks. But whoever, with the most recent figures from Studio Series and War For Cybertron Trilogy line, they start to go back with strong and tough materials and some neat transformation tricks that was very absant from The Age Of Extinction and Prime Wars Trilogy toyline.
i forgot how many of these I had, thank you for unlocking such an obscure part of my memory lmao
The GameBoy Micro was the last GameBoy to be released and came out in 2005. Two years before these were released.
for some reason I wanted them so bad back then...I'd was such a looser at that time.
Just ordered power up vt 6, love this small line of figures
Man, I miss these guys! I still have my Longview but wanted the rest solely because I didn’t know how to transform them back then and wanted to redeem myself
I remember having HIgh Score when I was a kid and forgot all about him until I saw this video. Guess I'll get him again. And the others
Looking at these brings back memories
I had such great memories with the zoomout!
Booster X10s wings can also fold up, so you can have him perch on another bots arm or something
Brought back so many memories
I used to have a KO of Speed Dial from when the movie was released, his arms sometimes pop off but it was almost a carbon copy of the real deal
Fuuuck, I had most of these and loved them. Good memories
Wait I had Meantime for YEARS and never once discovered that the watch face could rotate!
This is pretty much the first I ever heard that that was even an option, it blew my mind ever so slightly.
I remember having Meantime and Power Up VT6 when I was a kid. Ah, memories....
These are so fun, some of the most prized in my collection
Holy crap I remember these. I had the camcorder one as a kid aka Zoom Out.
These guys look all good. Manly cuz these guys make for good background characters with your more recognizable Transformers in the front on display with a few cybertronian citizens in the background just to give it a little more Flair Awesome figures. Great review Thanks
I liked Booster because it was basically Laserbeak in all but name and I had him at one time along with Speed Dial. These were really fun as a novelty and the idea of everyday objects transforming into robots which is why I like those strange oddball crossovers where Prime and Megs turn into shoes and game consoles.
I like the camera one :) I think I may have to get one someday for my shelf of nerdy figurines.
oh man i completely forgot i had spy shot and the light blue version of booster (his name was night beat 7 apparently) when i was super little, thanks for the nostalgia my dude
I was a team lead at target once upon a time, and I had Longview sitting on my desk. Good memories!
Damn the nostalgia of seeing the phone. I completely forgot these existed and I had one.
I had the Decepticon Booster x10. Loved that bird
I had the camera and the red mp3 as a little girl! I got into Transformers when my parents divorced and my dad always bought me then when I visited him
I just thought of whose hands this controller was made for...
Baby Handz Deadpool!!!
My brother has all of these still, and I still enjoy them to this day. If I see one, I'm playing with it...
I've always loved the real gear toys they had some charm!
I remember when i was a kid I had the deceptcon version of the phone for a while and was my favorite toy might have to go and find one online for nostalgia
I remember getting the flip phone transformer for my 8th birthday. I also had the controller and camera recorder.
I remember having a few of these when I was younger! God the memories, although funny enough I recall having the nice light blue Booster, don’t recall if I had the earpiece or not.
Edit: Minor sentence corrections.
Man, remember as a kid having a transformer booklet.
They were cool. The one I remember was one that was one of those small cement mixer
Omg i had some of these as a kid
Transformers Cybertron was my favorite series, so I can say, yes, you got the names right for the characters on the stickers.
Some things like the stickers, the proportions, the colors and the faces reveal that they are straight out of the Unicron trilogy.
Cool video thanks for helping me figure out the cell phones arms.
Got him on ebay for 10.00
I still remember having Booster X10's Autobot counterpart, damn.. Good times.
I have three of these already might try to go for the rest of them
You sound like a sweet person, like a good friend who you haven’t seen in a while. Your a special human. I like ya. Subscribed!
I remember having Meantime as a kid and always used to play around with my cousins and such
Man time sure does fly
Yo, JTMitchell! Great review on these gear robots. Out of all of these, I only own Speed Dial, SpyShot6, and Zoom Out
These guys have some pretty good alt modes the two phones, binoculars and the gaming console are probably the most convincing.
I remember i used to have a full set of these, used to pretend I was playing videogames while watching movies with the video game controller one haha.
Dude those toys are more than meets the eye.
Pretty sure I had the Cam Corder, traded the Binoculars for the Watch with a Friend as a kid
Yoooo I had that watch one it was so cool
Man, I forgot about Meantime, it was the only one i had but i really liked it
I remembered bakugan when i saw that eagle robot type.
Omg I remember these!
Dude! You were Correct! Those Were Indeed Override and Ransack with His Bud Crumplezone miss TRANSFORMERS Cybertron
This was such a good line.
You were right on spy shot having ransack in frame
Omg I literally had these as a kid
God, I remember having 3 of these as a kid
I still have mine and i still love them
I was just talking about these and suddenly got recommended this video. Spooky.
I used to have a Longview, thanks UA-cam recommendations
Not a big fan of Meantime myself, but I was spoiled from my old G1 watch TF who's clock really did work. But I was left with his band on my wrist qhen he transformed. He was got with bot points. Great time
Nice
How did I miss out on all these!?!?! Wow
I actually had Power Up ages ago and he was the shit. i brought him to the pool with me all the time for whatever reason
Yes, I realize I had Speed Dial's legs backwards. He just wanted to stand out, okay?!
I wish they brought these back. Transformers are robots in disguise. They're not just limited to vehicles!
@@thepikachu176 Well they kinda brought them back in the form of the bot bots, yes granted they are worlds apart in terms of quality, size, and how many steps it takes to transform, but the bot bots do give us new things from a pinball machine to a slice of pizza.
I like to pretend the watch Decepticon in the third film is Meantime even if it isn't.
Anyone else call spyshot 6 reflector
@@Echo_ReyesThis has actually been the first review of these since 2007.
