The downgrade you speak of in windows, are mostly driver updates, which can be reverted without causing issues. Fundamentally, you cant downgrade from a major update backwards, as the config files, APIs and other technologies are written to have compability with previous config files and settings, but not vice versa.

I want to share a recent case "My friend's s22 ultra suffering from a green line issue which came after a software update, when we visited the service center he didn't check the phone in front of us and took it to the workshop after 10 min they came with a dent which was not before there (we have checked that device with no dent in the home before going to the service center) now they are asking money to repair it which cost's around 21k ..! When we complained to the Samsung helpline they only blame us for this, this level of scam is going on from such a reputed brand 'SAMSUNG', I have s23 ultra, stopped all the updates...DO NOT update the device after the release, research carefully and then update if needed " So this is the pure fault of the brand, and we are only suffering after paying such a premium price..!

Three years normal use internal components warranty, except battery, is very necessary to curb service centre misbehave. For screen problems not related to abuse, company should be providing warranty as led screen sometimes cost about 40~50% of a new phone in service centre. Great initiative by you..👍🏽 Edit: I faced motherboard dead problem with poco x3 pro with barely 13-14 months of use. I had to buy new phone because repairing was hellishly costly. As soon as it is out of warranty, they don’t even care.
Recently i visited Moto service center. waha par kuchh logo ke motorola phones me Green line issue tha and you know what service center walo ne bola ki display repairing ke ₹8500 padenge (I think it was Moto G64) .I was shocked because this was brand's fault.
My moto display once got replaced due to green line issue which was under warranty.Now just 6/7 month later same issue started.Maybe they are doing this intentionally.😅😅

My experience With My VIVO X60 After 1 year my vivo phone got this green line on screen. I went to the service centre they charged me 8k for screen replacement but the sad part is after screen replacement my on screen fingerprint was not working and they were asking for 5k extra to fix it . India needs to adapt EU laws especially on tech gadgets... It can solve 99% of these problems... But this issue isn't getting noticed by our govt. Coz most of the tech influencers are in brands pocket. Hence few tech influencers who believe that "with great power there comes great responsibility" are trying their best to bring it to notice... Just changed volume and power button. I hope I can still manage 3 years more with it. Battery goes upto 7hrs on full charge on continue usage

These brands seem more focused on profiting from customers' hard-earned money rather than delivering quality. In my opinion, while Apple phones are expensive, they last longer and are worth the investment compared to these subpar Chinese products.

I recently bought the oneplus 12r and later on realised that the green screen issue is prevailing. I am scared to update now and despite of living in mumbai city, the service centre is a little far and honestly no one in the house has time to put into the repairs if anything goes wrong. I just hope your initiative works and the brands take some responsibility, so that we as consumers do not have to bear the headache or the finances for the issue that we are not even responsible for. Brands need to understand that the true essence of business is not profit but it is trust of the consumers otherwise the brand wil perish one day.
REALME nazro 70 pro and nazro 60x is full of bugs, bootware, , so many pre-installed apps which can't unistalled . So consumer forum need to legal actions against this smartphone in India and need new rules about smartphone longevity where one can run phone long years. Need also battery support after battery life ended.

I bought Moto G24 Power approx 3 months ago, and since approx 1 month my phone's software keeps crashing, and installed apps are also crashing repeatedly. Visited Realme Service centre and they have come out with a new baseless reason that this issue has occurred with having mosture on the phone if they dont find any external damage just to avoid replacing screen for free as per their policy. If they are doing this for their flagship phones, then dont know what would they be handling the other cheaper devices. 8:12

Smartphone are selling high price but warranty just for one year and android update for 2 years. It's joking with our hard earned money. Instead of this smartphone bands are not providing all 4g and 5G network bands which is very dangerous for waste of money if for missing network bands can't use mobile networks on different service providers networks on different area time to time. I have a xiomi mi 11x . After hyper os update my phone was lagging, randomly stopping to response. Then just a lock and unlock later the problem was getting solved. 2 days ago suddenly the display showed some white purple and blue webbing line for a few moments. Then the phone just " died"... My device is out of warranty. I have a tiny crack on the back glass (for about 2 years now). I'm 100% sure they will tell me it's my fault if I approach cervice centre.
Same, my friend's RN 11 pro+ 5G became laggy after hyperos update & before update the phone was running smooth even pubg at hd graphics but after update 🤡 I recommended him to update only because My RN 13 pro+ had a new look after this update

I have samsung galaxy s21 fe. I did not know about this issue but upgrade mai postpone kar rahi thi. I normally don't just upgrade my phone as soon as the notification comes, ek baar postpone kiya tha, and kal youtube dekhte time suddenly vertical line aya. Mujhe laga upgrade late hone se ho gaya hoga so I upgraded my phone and now the line is permanent. This means ki whether you upgrade it or not, hona toh hai hi sabke sath. Bas yahi difference tha ki Bina upgrade k wo vertical line slowly screen me bright ho raha tha and now after upgrade it permanently there.
Except for Apple, Samsung, and Google, I don't even consider other brands worth checking out, mainly because of their frequent launches and cluttered UIs filled with annoying bloatware. Thanks for making such videos 👍🏻

Few years ago i bought Xiaomi 9a for my mom, now after update they intentionally decrease 9a performance, now it very lagy even after I reset my 9a performance still worse.
I myself was the victim of motherboard dead issue in samsung M31 . and somehow managed to get rid of the phone . It got dead due to software upadate and when I ask about this to the service center they refused to help me in this and told me to pay 6000 for the new motherboard. Poor service by SAMSUNG . Since then never purchased any product from them and never let anyone in my known to purchase either.
Whenever I heard about the green line issue I thought I am also doing the same updates on my S21 plus and my phone is ok. Then finally on 30th August I noticed a thin green line on my screen. I had updated my phone on 25th but I am not sure if the line appeared immediately after or on 30th as it was very thin. How are companies getting away with this, it’s a fault at their end, government should step in and do something to hold these companies responsible. They are selling such expensive phones and they are defective or their updates are. And why is this issue happening to amoled screens since last few years only. Amoled screens are quite old and we never heard of this issue back then. Had no problems with my S2 or S8. Now I am stuck with a phone with an eyesore of a green line , apart from that the phone is in pristine condition. A couple micro scratches around the charging port which are inevitable but otherwise absolutely in brand new condition. And I can’t even apply for free screen replacement by Samsung because the phone should have been bought within the last 3 years for free replacement, my 3 years were up in July. This is just ridiculous and they haven’t found any solution to this problem too. So what’s the point in buying expensive phones of any brand while this issue is still unsolved.

I had to change my Google Pixel 7Pro screen 3 times and still the phone has a glitch where I can see 3 dots in the upper right corner and my phone is not even 2 years old. I have spent almost 36000 till now and now I have no hope and the only option I have is to save money and buy a new phone.
This can be a golden opportunity to revive our dead India Smartphone Manufacturer Brands like Lava , Intex , Karbonn , LYF. We have a very long way to go to work on Quality , Design & Service parameters apart from being cost effective , so as to compete with these global brands. For screen problems not related to abuse, company should be providing warranty as led screen sometimes cost about 40~50% of a new phone in service centre. Great initiative by you..👍🏽
Edit: I faced motherboard dead problem with poco x3 pro with barely 13-14 months of use. I had to buy new phone because repairing was hellishly costly. As soon as it is out of warranty, they don’t even care.
Recently i visited Moto service center. waha par kuchh logo ke motorola phones me Green line issue tha and you know what service center walo ne bola ki display repairing ke ₹8500 padenge (I think it was Moto G64) .I was shocked because this was brand's fault.

After 1 year my vivo phone got this green line on screen. I went to the service centre they charged me 8k for screen replacement but the sad part is after screen replacement my on screen fingerprint was not working and they were asking for 5k extra to fix it . Now i open my phone with face unlock 😥 #shamevivo
I'm using Vivo v20 from last 4 years and my phone screen time is almost 12 hours and I do gaming but I haven't experienced any problems coz I haven't updated my phone form 3 years
India needs to adapt EU laws especially on tech gadgets... It can solve 99% of these problems... But this issue isn't getting noticed by our govt. Coz most of the tech influencers are in brands pocket. Hence few tech influencers who believe that "with great power there comes great responsibility" are trying their best to bring it to notice... Just changed volume and power button. I hope I can still manage 3 years more with it. Battery goes upto 7hrs on full charge on continue usage

I recently bought the oneplus 12r and later on realised that the green screen issue is prevailing. I am scared to update now and despite of living in mumbai city, the service centre is a little far and honestly no one in the house has time to put into the repairs if anything goes wrong.
I just hope your initiative works and the brands take some responsibility, so that we as consumers do not have to bear the headache or the finances for the issue that we are not even responsible for.

Visited Realme Service centre and they have come out with a new baseless reason that this issue has occurred with having mosture on the phone if they dont find any external damage just to avoid replacing screen for free as per their policy. I have a xiomi mi 11x . After hyper os update my phone was lagging, randomly stopping to response. Then just a lock and unlock later the problem was getting solved. 2 days ago suddenly the display showed some white purple and blue webbing line for a few moments. Then the phone just " died"... My device is out of warranty. I have a tiny crack on the back glass (for about 2 years now). I'm 100% sure they will tell me it's my fault if I approach cervice centre.

I have samsung galaxy s21 fe. I did not know about this issue but upgrade mai postpone kar rahi thi. I normally don't just upgrade my phone as soon as the notification comes, ek baar postpone kiya tha, and kal youtube dekhte time suddenly vertical line aya. Mujhe laga upgrade late hone se ho gaya hoga so I upgraded my phone and now the line is permanent. This means ki whether you upgrade it or not, hona toh hai hi sabke sath. Bas yahi difference tha ki Bina upgrade k wo vertical line slowly screen me bright ho raha tha and now after upgrade it permanently there.
Except for Apple, Samsung, and Google, I don't even consider other brands worth checking out, mainly because of their frequent launches and cluttered UIs filled with annoying bloatware. Thanks for making such videos 👍🏻

I am using moto g40 fusion and it still running on Android 12, now I am started facing performance related issues
What all are the issues
Sometimes fingerprint sensor doesn't work, rarely phone automatically reboot itself, camera quality deteriorating
And also ghost touch... Problem Bhut Ghatiya
Few years ago i bought Xiaomi 9a for my mom, now after update they intentionally decrease 9a performance, now it very lagy even after I reset my 9a performance still worse.
Same case with REDMI 5A
I myself was the victim of motherboard dead issue in samsung M31 . and somehow managed to get rid of the phone . It got dead due to software upadate and when I ask about this to the service center they refused to help me in this and told me to pay 6000 for the new motherboard. Poor service by SAMSUNG . Since then never purchased any product from them and never let anyone in my known to purchase either.

Whenever I heard about the green line issue I thought I am also doing the same updates on my S21 plus and my phone is ok. Then finally on 30th August I noticed a thin green line on my screen. I had updated my phone on 25th but I am not sure if the line appeared immediately after or on 30th as it was very thin. How are companies getting away with this, it’s a fault at their end, government should step in and do something to hold these companies responsible. They are selling such expensive phones and they are defective or their updates are. And why is this issue happening to amoled screens since last few years only. Amoled screens are quite old and we never heard of this issue back then. Had no problems with my S2 or S8. Now I am stuck with a phone with an eyesore of a green line , apart from that the phone is in pristine condition. A couple micro scratches around the charging port which are inevitable but otherwise absolutely in brand new condition. And I can’t even apply for free screen replacement by Samsung because the phone should have been bought within the last 3 years for free replacement, my 3 years were up in July. This is just ridiculous and they haven’t found any solution to this problem too. So what’s the point in buying expensive phones of any brand while this issue is still unsolved.

Green line problem also happened with my Moto Edge 30 after updating to its latest update for Android 14
My phone working normally and I put it on bed when I saw after a minute the green line just came from nowhere
There is no physical damage, No water contact.The only thing I do is Update 2 days ago

I had to change my Google Pixel 7Pro screen 3 times and still the phone has a glitch where I can see 3 dots in the upper right corner and my phone is not even 2 years old. I have spent almost 36000 till now and now I have no hope and the only option I have is to save money and buy a new phone.

This can be a golden opportunity to revive our dead India Smartphone Manufacturer Brands like Lava , Intex , Karbonn , LYF.
We have a very long way to go to work on Quality , Design & Service parameters apart from being cost effective , so as to compete with these global brands. May be it may sound childish , but if these indigenous brands work sincerely in this direction , it is good for our country 🇮🇳

Bhai ek pendrive Lelo 256 GB. Jisme apna personal data every 15-20 days backup rakho. Motherboard dead hua to yhi option rahega.
Bech do. Android me mahanga phone kharidna bekar hai. Jyada paisa hai to apple ko do. Company me quality control kuch had tak to hai.
Thank you for addressing the issue. Govt should be pressurised so that they pressurize the brands for service.
