to dry the paint faster and make it look smoother. the actual burning of the paint leaves a cool texture on the painting.

you dont need to take courses. just practice it by yourself. watch some videos and you will get it. you'll be better at it in time. I made one of these for my boyfriend's birthday and it was my first try. It's not the best one but it was really easy to make :)

Just techniques, colours, the paper spraying and what not...

Where do you get the spray cans with the red top? Because I have the white ones and they don't spray as, "soft" (as I see/call it) where mine just sprays so much. Your's has a lighter spray. What brand is it? I use Painter's Touch 2x

Matt you are AMAZING!! I've been doing various forms of art mediums since I was a sperm, and I'm good, but I tried this space paintin and it turned out like crap....there was no 'depth" to the picture; everything seemed flat and one dimensional. Could ya possibly give me an expert tip to give the paintings depth and realism?
I've seen many spray painting videos but this is the first I've seen using fire. Very entertaining. What is the purpose of the fire? Is there a reaction with the flame that cause the paint to react differently? Just curious. For what ever reason, its still amazing,
