This is exactly the video on the game I needed! Thanks!😊 I wasn’t too sure what it was about and it was so hyped up. I’m like you, love grinding! The professions aspect is cool, but I can see how it gets old after awhile. But I do love how you have to keep working towards something and unlocking more things. That keeps me coming back. The world looks so fun and inviting and the graphics seem super cute. Now it just needs to come to the X box or Switch😅
The game actually takes a lot from Fantasy Life, but it unfortunately makes one huge mistake: all professions ultimately just lead to selling items. Gear you craft as a blacksmith is only for selling, so is your food, so are fishes, so are jewels, and so on. On Fantasy Life, the whole point of having multiple cool professions is that the resources you spent ages grinding as a miner could feed your blacksmith levels and create the gear you'd use in combat when questing, together with the effects from the potions you brewed and the food you cooked. On Luma Island every profession feels the same, even the archeologist ultimately just wants to get a few items to craft something to sell.
I felt the same, loooots of grinding, did not understand why people are talking about so many temples. So far not totally convinced but it's a bit addicting
It's like Fae Farm with more grind.

I think this is a good comparison and explanation.
This reminded me a lot of Fae Farm. But more robust? looks like a good little time sink im sorry I think I missed the price for this, how much was it?
I just grabbed it on sale for $19.99 cad also grabbed fae farm which was around $40 on sale around $80 without sale
I think I got it on special for maybe around 25aus, so a very fair price

Someone should just make a game called "Hype" :D "Is Hype worth the hype?!" :D
Hahaha only you would think of that
