The first thing I had to learn when I arrived in Europe in 2013 as an exchange student was how to assemble Ikea furniture myself. Unlike my home country in Asia, which offers a furniture assembly service in its Ikea stores with affordable price. Unfortunately, this service doesn't exist in European country where i live, except that you have to pay half the price of the furniture itself only for the assembly service, which made me cry a lot at the time. So, without being sad, cooking and assembling Ikea furniture are the basic skills you need to survive. Unless you come into a lot of money After years and sooo many trials and errors, I can say that assembling Ikea furniture is the easiest. At least they come with full instructions. Sure, at first it's a daunting task, just like me, but as you gain experience, you'll become more skilled and feel more comfortable doing it. By the way, i love the new decoration of the living room. It looks more cozy than before
