This is so cute i tried to downsize it for a doll. Body worked out well but not so much for the sleeves. Think i needed to use a smaller hook/yarn. Made a nice vest in the end tho.

Good morning , first you need to make enough loops that it would fit over the 8 year olds head then I can help you to count the sides, the length of the loops should be around 53-54 cm long

Hi I did the yolk and it’s 4.5 centimeters to long. that’s the length I needed to get the proper chest measurement for size 1-2y . How would I separate the sleeves earlier with the chain method mentioned ?
Hello Simona I love this sweater and I started to work the same size as you did in the video. I worked with DK yarn but it took me much many rows than you to get to 33 cm. Also , my row ends on the sleeve and not on the back side. I unraveled and did it twice , but the second time was the same. Can you please tell me what I’m doing wrong? Thank you
Good morning, don't worry if you got more rows than me, that's why I use measurements your yarn might be thinner than mine or you might be crocheting tighter than me. Your rows end in the sleeve because you probably mixed up the back with a sleeve at the beginning, don't worry, just cut your yarn when you finish the yoke and start at the back, that makes no difference

Don't worry about the wool brand, just use what you have... That's why I give measurements, so you could adjust the pattern with different wool

Absolutely love your tutorials! So easy to follow. Your puff stitches look nice and round. Mine look more oval - any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Perhaps do an extra yarnover so they are thicker , it could be just that your yarn is thinner or more silky than mine

I don't have a chart for adults, but I would recommend to take measurements from your own cardigan that you like the fit
