Been in MD-88 several times in 1st class on non rev flights. Could not imagine the noise sitting in the very back near the JT8Ds!
That’s where all of the magic would happen. Sitting right in front of the JT8D was my first class every single time.
The MD-88 must’ve been super light! Awesome video!
GabeSuper80 there were a total of 7 people on this flight 😂
Jonahair747 Jeez! Perfect time to go ride on some Maddogs 🤣
GabeSuper80 Exactly! Since there’s only 10 people on almost every flight and they stuck them all in the front and I head straight to the back away from anyone anyways. I’ve got gloves I wear and a mask just in case 👍
Jonahair747 Works out perfectly! Also getting all those Maddog flights in before they get retired soon
Really miss them I got to go on a couple last year but I wish I got to go on them again
The magnificent sound of those engines.
2:30 - Acceleration displayed by the rain on the window
Fantastic video and sound
Thank you very much!!
Now that was steep. So many videos say steep takeoff that are not. That absolutely was!!!!
Wow! Great catch!
Please feel free to check out the MD-88 that I am currently building!
Great video!
DC-9/MD-80/Boeing 717 is the best aircraft IMO.
Agreed brother 🤙
I was gonna say something about how the pilots didn't like the rain so they shot straight up into the sky, but it's delta, not American
