I find the design of this table to be so much better than the Festool MFT. That hinge system is brilliant. Also, I can buy the top only and permanently install it in my shop. Take my money :)

Crystal clear presentation. I'm a Festool track saw owner, and the design of this Kreg product looks great to me, especially the decision to go with a left-blade saw. Where is the saw itself manufactured, and what are the blade's diameter and arbor size. The corresponding Euro/proprietary specs of the Festool saw trap users into the non-competitive prices their dealers are required to hold. My bet is that this late but carefully developed Kreg entry into the track saw space will be a massive success.
I bought the table, I would appreciate a QR code in the beginning of the manual to this video, I'm trying to set up the hinges and any way I do it the track becomes offset not straight. You must reference the video as the instruction manual isn't clear enough. If I had a reference to this video I would have saved 45 minutes of confusion. Thank you.

I’m a 72 yr old retired carpenter and could make any cut that the above offers, better and quicker and for a fraction of the cost. All you need is a pair of saw horses, a sheet of ply to work on, a straight edge and two clamps, game over!
In the video you show the track hinge being attached and held in place by one screw on either end. Doesn't that leave the track susceptible to becoming misaligned over time? What keeps the track and hinge aligned? I mean screws can loosen over time.
I believe the nuts that slide in the aluminum track gets caught mid turn and jams up. A little tighten/loosen of the T knobs with some shaking should realign them and allow it to slide!

I already have a bunch of festool tracks but am looking for a more sturdy "MFT" style table that supports those tracks. If they are compatible, this one looks like a winner for me.

There are not tracks in the edges of the table and we wouldn't recommend routing out space for a clamp track. You can use the Kreg In-Line Clamp and the Kreg Bench Clamp with Bench Clamp Base in the table easily.
Just purchased the ACS from Woodcraft this weekend, and really looking forward to using it. Out of curiosity, is it possible to establish a second location for the guide track hinges along the long length of the table such that the guide track could run perpendicular to the standard position, and thus provide additional flexibility comparable to the Festool MFT? Seems like the only thing one would have to do is cut a small notch out along the edges of the MFT in the desired locations to accomodate the two hinge plates, and of course utilize a shortened guide rail. Is this feasible and has anyone tried this?

The Adaptive Cutting System is designed to stay calibrated for accurate setups and measurements once set up. If anything ever gets knocked out of adjustment, though, it can be re-calibrated easily. If you ever find that you are unable to maintain or reset calibration of any part of the Adaptive Cutting System, you should contact Kreg.

No, the Adaptive Cutting System Plunge Saw is not compatible with the Kreg Accu-Cut™ track. The Accu-Cut track is designed to work with the Universal Sled that accompanies it. The Adaptive Cutting System Plunge Saw is designed to ride directly on the Adaptive Cutting System 62" Guide Track, and is not compatible with the Accu-Cut Universal Sled.
Sorry Kreg Tool, that wasn't his question, people want to know if the tracks they already have can be attached to the work table (the raising and lowering function) so they can get away with just buying the table if they already have a track saw rail system they like.
It looks like it could attach, as the accu cut does have slot channels on the bottom, but the slots are not centered, so the track would be offset. You would have minimal adjustments to compensate for that.

I find the hinge mount plate(s) doesn’t slide easily to align the track with the versa stops when calibrating. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Can you use any Kreg clamps with this table? Are there tracks in the edges of the table? Possibility to route out space in the top for a track?
There are not tracks in the edges of the table and we wouldn't recommend routing out space for a clamp track. You can use the Kreg In-Line Clamp and the Kreg Bench Clamp with Bench Clamp Base in the table easily.
