Exactly what I needed to help me decide whether to order a food delivery service for plant based, health focused food but not necessarily full meals. We are an elderly couple living in a rural area where there are fewer places to shop and/or carry out.

What about the sizes? Splendid spoon appears to have larger sizes (atleast the smoothies). Do you think that makes up for the the cost some?
I think the sizes are pretty similar in my opinion (although they both have a wide range of sizes)
I love splendid spoon. I have never felt better about what I put in my body and I don't have time for prep for breakfast and lunch

The Splendid Spoon smoothies I tried were awful. Daily Harvest smoothies are much better. I do like Splendid Smooth bowls better.
The packaging is a deal breaker for me. It seems like a dichotomy to have good for the body food packaged in bad for the environment plastic.
Totally agree Patricia - I wish more companies would switch to non-plastic packaging.

Splendid Spoon website says bowls = 2 serv size-so double nutritional stats, sodium, sugar etc.
Yep! Pretty much all of the bowls are 2 servings from them, so I use the combined amount

Yep! I find the servings sizes and nutritional content/calories pretty similar in reality though. Splendid Spoon cuts their servings in half for some reason, but I personally count one bowl as a realistic portion for a person so I count both servings. I think it’s more a matter of how the companies count a “serving” vs a real difference between the 2 companies.
