As a Birmingham fan you don’t know the whole story. 12 years of the club being treated like dirt. Even before that when were in and out of the premier league the owners (Sullivan and gold) never ever loved the club or truly wanted to take us to the next level. They used the club to further their interests whatever the cost was. These are the first owners we’ve had who genuinely care and are putting their money where their mouth is. Investing in the stadium which doesn’t really benefit them in the short term financially but they’re doing it for the supporters.
"Barry Cook" isnt the owner or majority shareholder of Birmingham City, Garry Cook is the CEO. The Chairman is Tom Wagner, hes been to away games and sat with the fans and seems to truly understand the passion of the fans
The main reason owners are talking about playing games in the US is because MLS is the 3rd most watched league here. MLS will probably drop to 4th now that EFL games are being broadcast on Paramount. If MLS was #1, there would be no talk about games being moved here. Notice they always mention the US and not other countries.

"The very essence of English football" was destroyed in 1992.
Trust me if we get into premiership I'll be celebrating July 4th the fact that man city and Chelsea got pumped millions into there club's and became mega teams bcfc finally have honest owners with blues at heart not leeches
I would argue Berylson and Short were good owners for Millwall and Sunderland. The same with Lerner for Villa and Bournemouth but I get what you're saying there if you look at some of the Yank owners like Glazers and FSG who are the classic useless American owners. Even Shahid Khan whilst making ticket prices expensive Vs Al Fayed tenure has put money into the ground there. Chelsea whilst Comical I can see what they're doing and a lot of their signings except Mudryk look good or sensible. But their outgoings are nonsensical getting rid of Kante, Lukaku, Gallagher and countless more who under a proper manager would be successful. But I do worry about private equity firms joining the Premier League/Championship and a lot of them are American/parodying Moneyb all.
@@devanman7920 Undoubtedly. I would just say any HEDGE FUND/PRIVATE EQUITY GROUP which undoubtedly is the bulk of the American Owners. Glazers with the Leveraged Buyout Takeover being even more parasitical. Glazenomics 😂 Taking Utds money to buy transfers, parasites no different to Methven and Donald using Sunderland's parachute payments to spunk 4.5 mill on a homesick Will Grigg to try and get them into the championship in Sunderland till I Die
Generalizing all American owners is unfair; conducting thorough research is crucial before creating such a vlog. Consider BCFC as an example: they have unlimited funds, with a new 2-3 billion pound 65000 seater stadium in development, 35 million invested in current ground improvements, which will be demolished in 5- 6 years, personalized Nike kits new deal for the next five years, Delta Airlines the biggest airline in the world, as a new sponsor, and Pepsi sponsorship anticipated. They've also secured a new 3-year deal with Undefeated, all of which are significant revenue generators for the club. Biggest revenue generating club outside of the prem and top 3 of championship. Season ticket sales are at a 12-year high, with every home and away game sold out, and hospitality fully booked. Sacking of Eustice After just five games, being 6th is hardly a stat to judge by, and he didn't fit the clubs future plans. BCFC were always going to struggle that season, as like the previous 11 seasons. No one in BCFC has ever agreed with games being played in the USA, this was fake news that was confirmed by the people behind it along with both BCFC and Wrexham. And Barry Cook? He's not related to the club as far as the records show.

And oil backed state teams are not ruining the game?
I think in the long run the Americans will do more harm

Give me american owners over muslim royalty, russian oligarchs or chinese criminals anyday.
They jave already ruined it.
The EPL is already finished amd will be replaced in the 5 years
The whole sport is turning to muck. All becoming Americanized. The superleague will eventually happen
@@devanman7920 oh yes in a way the UCL too. I prefer the Europa League as I never know who will win it, year to year
