- Trying out some of the new Prizm Pour colours using the Bloom Technique!
The only thing I did to the Prizm Pour was thin it down with a small amount of my bloom mix (see below)

For the "pillow" (The white paint I put down first!) I use Homebase pure brilliant white wall and ceiling (Silk).
Recipe in this video:
3 parts Valspar wood and metal interior BASE C V700 Blend,
1 part Vallejo polyurethane gloss varnish
1/2 part Golden heavy gel gloss
*CELL ACTIVATOR:
1 part Golden Carbon Black; 4 parts Australian Flood Floetrol
1 part Amsterdam Titanium White; 3 parts Australian Flood Floetrol
Alternatively you can use:
1 Part VIVID ENAMEL (by Colourarte), 1 Part Vallejo Polyurethane gloss varnish
Alternatively you can try the following Glue All Cell Activator!
*ELMER'S GLUE ALL CELL ACTIVATOR: 10ml amsterdam Titanium White, 20 ml elmer's glue all, 10ml water (I'm experimenting so this may change)

Your blooms are a-mazing Erica and the Prizm Paints are next level. I have all of them and used them all in a couple of Drizzle Swipe Wreck Spin pours over the weekend. They are so beautiful and sparkly. The Chrysocolla and Chantilly Lace are gorgeous and mixed with Hot Orchid and the other colors, super.

OMG, I can't believe how beautiful that is. What amazing colors! I bought the Chrysocolla and the Hot Orchid. Stupidly I didn't see the set of the 4 colors as bee line straight to that Chrysocolla without realizing by buying the set I could say some $$ so now I'm spending the full amount for the other colors. I never learn. So often I'll put something in a "cart" on line and forget that I did that and then see the color again and put another in the cart so I get doubles. I cannot tell you how many times I've done that and oh, I get so mad at myself. Yeah, just ordered canvases (The Edge) at Jerry's Artarama and when my order arrived I had 2 sets of a 3 pack of 18X18" canvases! And for sure it would cost a small fortune to return them. Senility is real. Great job with both of these paintings. I can't wait to try that and using that Hot Orchid with the Chrysocolla!

Omg it's beautiful!!💜 Erica is that mdf? Don't u put Gesso on it to protect from the water? I've never tried mdf... But i sure want to give it a try!!
Do you have the paint under the board to keep it from sliding off when spinning?

When you say, cell activator, is something added to the paint...silicone? Thanks
Her mixing recipe below the vid says the activating mixes are 3 parts Floetrol to 1 part paint, so the Floetrol is the activator. Her recipes are all there.

Wow love this so much. Will definitely be having a go. The white cell activator didn't seem to have much of an effect mainly the black worked, why do you think that happened?

Beautiful! Just wanted to clarify if you mixed your prizm paints with your normal pm ? Thanks a lot ! I have some and wanted to try but they seem thick for the blooms !
Hi Susan, I thinned it down with a small bit of the bloom recipe mix. Some use just water to thin... I just grabbed what was closer and it worked out great!
