Time to reveal the answer, the other 2 operator who can take out Patriot phase1 solo are Schwarz and Provence. Schwarz skill 3 does just enough damage to kill phase 1 from full with 3 mines, and Provence takes down Patriot P1 easily with mines. (Mines do 3k dmg each so she doesn't need any help of lowering boss HP to 80%) Here are a few others that are not even close but I see people mentioning: 1. Franka does ignore the armor, but only at 50% chance. And the other 50% time during skill she will do no damage to Patriot. So she will need on average 2 skill usage at max level to kill Patriot P1, and that's not fast enough. Just spamming mines with a slowing support will kill Patriot faster than Franka. 2. Ifrit is very similar to Franka, her damage output is not enough to take down the boss. But she lowers boss RES, which more than doubles other Arts damage. She can't do it solo but is the best support in a 2 operator combo to take down the boss. 3. Skadi/Silverash doesn't do enough..not even close. They both have just over 2K attack, which means each attack will only do a few hundred damage to Patriot P1.

Fenrir S2 is still good, and a good replacement for Eyjafjalla. Amiya is a good operator overall and I think she would be really worth investing in for budget or f2p players

Niche doesn’t mean bad, just not universal. But just like the thinking of Magallan and Sora being called niche, does not mean that they can’t be used in every scenario. It just means that they require more strategy (and big brain thinking) to use. I for one actually enjoy using niche operators to clear the content because it requires me to think more, to train my brain. It doesn’t mean they’re not universal, it means I’m not thinking hard enough.
there is a video made by a korean player clearing 7-18 with only Amiya as 5* operator, the rest are 3 and 4 stars, apparently a low rarity strat still is possible
Amiya is a special operator. She's tied into the story. Her skills also represent how she is affected by her usage of her originium arts. Her E1 skill stuns her after usage because she's actually over exerting herself. Kal'tsit reprimands Doctor the first time this happened in the story. Her E2 skills does even worse to her health and effectively knocks her out. True, by the game balance stand point (not like the game is balanced in itself), Amiya's E2 skill is lackluster compared to other operators' E2 skills... but think about it. She's the only 5* op with an E2 skill. You're basically comparing her to 6* operators while being a 5* herself. To me, story-wise, Amiya is the best designed Operator.
It also does true damage. Most enemies up to this point have either defense OR resistance OR tons of health - some small number, only two. Patriot has all three; tons of health, defense, and resistance. True damage is king here; everything else can be handled easily.

So this was the age before Surtr. I was on basically a full e1 team here with the e2s being Silverash, Surtr, Lappland and Mrytle. Surtr was on lvl 20 and skill was on m1. I managed to beat it using someone else's ceobe on s1 to stun the hell out of patriot and deal massive damage with Surtr. I swear she and silverash makes the game too easy, on R8-8 rn and my E2s are only that + Schwarz and Weedy
This is a slap to everyone who says that Amiya is bad. Her skill is so OP that the devs had to call her back every time just to balance it. Her skill doesn't make sense on the first parts of the story because it is reserved for big big bosses.

I'm guessing Ifrit, since lol what res? 90 res with talent goes to 54 res (already a 4.6x multiplier on arts damage!), then S3 active slaps it down even farther if you want, down to minimum 34 res (another 1.435 multiplier on arts damage) Two activations of S3 should comfortably-ish murder Patriot, not sure if you get enough time for that though
Indeed, but the sp cost is still high and unles you have a sp battery for her (like Liskarm, Chen or Ptilopsis) it will be extremely slow and i think she will end up dead before her first skill charges completely

Is debuff stacking effective versus patriot? Like Pramanix + Meteor + Shamare for Physical or Pramanix + Haze + Ifrit + Eyafi (Maybe Saria S3?). Seems like there are ways of lower the defense and magic resist through percent reductions to manageable levels to enable one of the strong boss killers. But Amiya seems to be the most cost efficient way of killing Patriot.

This is a slap to everyone who says that Amiya is bad. Her skill is so OP that the devs had to call her back every time just to balance it. Her skill doesn't make sense on the first parts of the story because it is reserved for big big bosses.

90 res with talent goes to 54 res (already a 4.6x multiplier on arts damage!), then S3 active slaps it down even farther if you want, down to minimum 34 res (another 1.435 multiplier on arts damage)
Two activations of S3 should comfortably-ish murder Patriot, not sure if you get enough time for that though

Indeed, but the sp cost is still high and unles you have a sp battery for her (like Liskarm, Chen or Ptilopsis) it will be extremely slow and i think she will end up dead before her first skill charges completely

If you put shift ops on ranged tiles do they count as ranged? Bcs you could try to use feater for eva tanking.

Is debuff stacking effective versus patriot? Like Pramanix + Meteor + Shamare for Physical or Pramanix + Haze + Ifrit + Eyafi (Maybe Saria S3?). Seems like there are ways of lower the defense and magic resist through percent reductions to manageable levels to enable one of the strong boss killers. But Amiya seems to be the most cost efficient way of killing Patriot.
So, who is the other 2 can solo Patriot beside Amiya? I can guess 1 is Schward but who is the last?
