I like this version. Good acting. ML is weak, not abusive but excessively focussed on work and stupidly ignorant of what is happening at home. He's caught between his family/filial piety and not understanding wife's situation. FL comes back fighting. ML stands up for FL when he finally clues in. He really works for it, and I like how they show the relationship with the MIL has a shift, but no "instant forgiveness".
It's the first time I see this actress acting dominant .I love seer her in another light because she always acts in sumissive roles. Although she ends up with an ex at the end,It's worth seeing, a success. I loved the drama!
The one thing I don't like is how in most versions of this story the FL gets back together with the husband. After the way his family treated her he ignored it, I would like to see the FL move on.
He really wasn't mean todo her, just little blind,because when she starts to exact her revenge he doesn't intervene in any moment to defend his family as in others drama that I've seen before.That's why I like this drama even though she's back with him. It was a good ending.

Oh she has some really good dominant roles!! She’s the first dominant female actress I fell in love with!! She plays it so well!!

ML was weak and ineffective. Every time he said he'd protect her from his family, 5 seconds later his family would be harassing her. She did a better job of protecting herself, she didn't need him. He should've offered to move out with his wife the second he got his head out of his own a$$ and realized what she'd been dealing with. He should've checked his family more firmly. It was his wishy washy cowardice and inability to take a firm stand with his family that was a huge problem.
What I don't understand is some stranger going to her doctor and being able to see her medical document? What happened to patience and doctor confidently? If her personal medical records from the hospital was leaked out there would be some law suits pending! Also the husband promised to keep his family in check, what happened to that? Fix those 2 issues and this would be a great story!

I think the ML was just on autopilot for the five years of his marriage. If his mother and sister are constant complainers, he wouldn’t necessarily know they were targeting her, especially if they always complain about everything. He really tried to solve the problems but it seemed like he had no knowledge of how to take control of the witches living in his home. It is hard at first to split what you owe your spouse and what you owe your family, so I get it, but he should have learned that lesson within the first few months of marriage. ML was never physically abusive, just checked out of his own life until she said enough.
That’s my take, anyway. I am ok with her ending up with him. He wasn’t a scumbag, just weak and unsure of boundaries.
You don’t have to be physically abusive to be abusive. He was mentally and emotionally abusive to her-having her give up on her dreams to be a housewife for him (why? Why would she ever need to be a servant in his house?!) and apparently didn’t ever sleep with her (?!) - which is why after 5 years she had not had a chance to conceive a child! Neglect and emotional abuse are 100% what this pathetic excuse for a husband did for FIVE years!

Loving your family is good, but the women who left her family and work just for you , you just let your family and green tea bully her like this and when she leaves you remembered she promised you in any situation she won't leave you. But what about you, huh? Did you cared for her. Then the story goes by and she divorced him after thinking about all the incidents (but he didn't sign up the papers). He changed, and like now that's good that they made up and get back together, the mother in law also changes. So it's okay(to watch this drama with atleast a logical ending)👍❤

@@sumi1956 I said this because in other dramas they show that getting stabbed, accident, coma etc can made FL forgive ML. But here he gives her time to think, don't pressures her to get back together and give his mother a lesson. Where as in other dramas the mother just changes cause his son left, but in this case he gave his mother a lesson by restricting her to do bad things. Yah it's not forgettable that he has done nothing towards her when she needs him most, and I hate the fact too. But when she , after all these damn years can't even foget him and have seen how much he learnt after she leaves, she think of giving him a chance, not forgetting the facts that he hurts her. They both suffered the bitter path, so in tha last they can get back together. Yah it's not forgettable how a person treats you bad, but atleast he tried to change just to comfort the FL, that's why I said this. Pretty good film. At least the husband wasn't listening to the other women all the time. He did listen to his wife sometimes. And he finally pushed down his mother when she was pulling another stunt.
However if I was the girl, no way but I live in the same house with that mother-in-law again. She may seem tame, but I would never trust her and never eat that food. 😅
I sort of like the husband's character though. He never slapped his wife. Finally finally he got it into his head what to do about those women. Once he realized what was going on, it took him a while to get around to it, but he finally showed some backbone.
The one thing I really missed is that the husband should have slapped his sister and that extra girl.
