It's not so bad. I would say it takes six hours to drive from the South (Aqaba) to the North (Mafraq). It's a magical, historical place. People live in peace and there's always something to do from hiking in Ajloun to floating in the Dead Sea, to being amazed by the stars in the pitch-black night in Wadi Rum.
