I just want to say thank you for existing. I was five when your show came out. My father and I were never close but your show is one of the few things that brought us in the same room. Now I am a 22 year old man and I got a phone call last week saying my dad was in the ICU and me being all he's got had to figure all that out for him. And I still am. But when he finally woke up I couldn't think of what to put on the TV in the ICU to watch while I visit with him. And I remembered I recently found your channel and since then we've been watching everything. From your documentary with your former wife to these regular uploads. Thank you for once again bringing my father and I together.
Love watching to see which wild edibles you're harvesting each time, and how Chef Paul decides to use and elevate it. I always tell my father about the bounty you're enjoying. He is an avid outdoorsman and even he is sometimes surprised by your content. Thank you Les
Absolutely LOVE Labrador Tea! I do not know why more people do not grow this in their landscaping and gardening, such a wonderful native plant, even if you do not use it for tea it is also simply beautiful!
I haven't finished the last series yet, still catching up from my epic Canada trip 🇨🇦 , I love all your shows, soo much compassion from the both of you ❤️ , Do you decide who does the foraging each volume ? My only question is are the labredor stalks bitter to not stew for tea until I look up .I am currently using silver birch and yarrow flower to aid some symptoms ..I got about 12 videos to catch up on already..Busy man Les , I will buy your music 🎶 CD soon as I am practicing my guitar 🎸 as promised ❤️🙏🇨🇦
Who else is just realizing that Survivor man was way ahead of his time? This is in reality how most of us should be living, even city's could be centered around independent power, and community gardens.
You should check out "Bush Tucker man" he is an Aussie bloke that was a Major in the army and used to travel Australia finding wild food for the army. Funnily enough his name is Les as well. He show is enjoyable 👍🙂
Dont see how you can do pond lily tuber - another YT Canuck tried to do it and it was totally inedible. Might be an issue of a seasonal harvest - spring vs summer or fall toxicity.
Love all the content Les!! If I had one request, it’s that we get the India Survivor Man Directors Commentary in the near future !
yep its coming

Grew up along the west coast and foraging and "knowing my back yard" has always been a huge interest to me. This series is awesome 👌
