I've had the EV RE410 for about 5yrs and its awesome! I have a little weaker and less volume in the lower range so I've removed the bass ring so i can use the proximity effect for a bit more bass. Fantastic mic!
The differences in sound seem much more obvious on the male voice then on the 1st soprano. The Shure sounded terrible on the bass, but rather okay on the soprano. Neumann more natural, open and airy then the others, Sennheiser more "solid" and compact.
I don't know if these guys have spent a long time living in the UK, but they sound more like Brits who have picked up a bit of a Swedish accent, their English is that good - particularly the guy in black.
Would you like to test Gecko Music Group's microphone Passion MP8305 with C.R.I.S.T.A.L. technology along with the other microphones? The accuracy of the reproduction of the sound source is unbelievably natural and clear.
Hey. I have a question: What kind of microphone was using a lector in this film? Because of I'm looking for the microphone as a master of ceremonies. Thanks in advance for the reply.
Sorry guys, your "feedback resistance test" is IMO complentely useless nonsens (if it was done the way its shown on the video). You can NOT measure feedback resistance ON AXIS (unless you are using wedges on stage right behind your head)! Great test anyway, what a pity that you have only a few mics included and some important models missing (mentioned KSM9, DPA d:facto and my favorite "budget" vocal condenser EV RE510 to name a few) but I understand that it would have to take enormous amount of time to test all the mics availabe on the market :-) . Anyway, your test is very well filmed and entertaining, thank you.
Wow! You really put some time into this test. Thank you! And your voices blend beautifully.
Very interesting. Thanks for your effort.

why didn't you try the Shure KSM9?
It is top of the line.

Love the EV RE 410

What is this song called? Is there a full performance available?
