Beautiful and true. I miss gospel music when it was like this. I'm not really old enough to have experienced it past my young years, I'm 35, but I sure do love it. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! How beautiful. To this day I can't get enough of the Speers, especially when Harold was in the group. What a terrific arranger! Thanks for sharing this wonderful song!!!
Me too. I was raised in the Church of the Nazarene, (am now a member of So. Charleston 1st Church in West Virginia) have heard the Speer Family numerous times. The Speer Family was organized out of Nashville 1st Church of the Nazarene.......I think.
BEAUTIFULLY SUNG BY A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!
EVERYONE IN THE SPEER FAMILY WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND HAD CHRIST-LIKE ATTITUDES! THANK YOU!
Ann was just here at our church in Fort Worth this past Sunday(10-21-2018). She was fabulous. I hope she will return.
Lots of good singers are from Calhoun County, MS. Ann has being singing a long while and can still belt out a song!

These singers are anointed. God is using this hymn to minister to people. What a message!. It makes me cry with peace and joy.

One of the most beautiful hymns!
Ann Downing and Ben Speer on the piano are still alive. Harold Lane, Brock and Faye Speer have all passed away sadly.
Very beautiful!
Ben passed away April of this year
Makes you wonder why she left
Does anyone know the year?
Likely 1973-1975.
@@alvinmccranie6978 it was 1970
Beautiful singing from the greatest of southern gospel singing groups. But who is “trying” to play bass guitar in the background???😬
Pierce LeFevre. The Speers and LeFevres would often be on the same program.
