I actually completely agree with the list of bosses you ranked as the best in the series. My personal order changes constantly depending on which boss I've fought last but Inner Father is a damn good choice for the #1 spot. On a sidenote I'm surprised you didn't mention the path to Sir Alonne, because my god if I were to make a ranking of the paths you had to go through to fight each boss then Sir Alonne's would be at the deepest pits of hell itself.
Yeah I despise Sir Alonne's area, but I usually forget about it once I'm fighting him since it's so much fun. And my personal order changes all the time too, but for a video purpose that's not gonna fly. Had to put them in some order, and I'm sure it'll change over time
I 100% agree that the lance moveset of Soul of Cinder is awful, but I have one big issue with Soul of Cinder that also applies to Isshin, Sword Saint, Gwyn and Manus. Inconsistent aggression; sometimes they can be pretty passive and other times they can give you no time to do anything, Gehrman is the only final boss in a FromSoftware game that I feel has consistent aggression (2nd best behind Gael imo). There is such a thing as a boss being too aggressive you know, and sometimes those bosses do that and it isn't fun. I have a love/hate relationship with Soul of Cinder and Manus because of this issue with thoss fights. I also feel the same way with Ludwig, his charge attack is cancer and the first phase I find a bit frustrating at times. Also locking onto Midir isn't bad, as long as you stay in front of him, while it does swing from side to side with some combos it's not super jarring and adds a bit of extra rhythm to his movements. You don't want to be too close, but you don't want to be too far back either. I'm sorry but Sister Friedee is one of the worst bosses in the series, fuck that trash boss and everything it stands for. Orphan does have some bullshit, it's what I like to call "fuck you kill" syndrome, Champion Gundyr and Soul of Cinder also suffer from this to an extent (Gundyr it's not too bad), basically where you get knocked to the ground by an attack, but as you leave the i-frames of the recovery animation the boss hits you with an attack you couldn't have avoided and likely die to (the SoC lance thrust that sends you skyward is a pretty bad example of this). Other than that Orphan is easily the most stressful thing that I've ever done in a video game, I was physically shaking by the end of both wins. I've beaten him twice AND HE STILL SCARES ME, let that sink in, but he's a great fight. Ludwig is a mixed bag but in the excellent tier still, but the charge attack sucks a lot of enjoyment out of the fight for me, plus I find that the difficulty nose dives in phase 2, I've only died once in phase 2 so far. I havent fought Inner Owl yet, but given the mixed feelings that I have for Inner Genichiro and how I despise Inner Isshin (havent gotten past phase 1 yet) I'm nervous about that one when I eventually unlock it.
Ludwig’s charge attack is so fucking cancerous, I’m deep into Ng+ cycles and while I can do the first phase near perfect sometimes that charge just one shots me. Tiny wind up, fuckin massive hit box and can easily one shot you even when you’re very high level. Still love that bastard though
Ok I'm just commenting on this video so I can say this. What the fuck is going one with all these porn accounts commenting on your videos all of a sudden?! They keep responding to my comments too and I'm thinking it's the same person with multiple accounts.
People in souls community often have mixed opinions about DS3 (especially the nostalgic gang) but you cannot deny that they've come through with the bosses...
Isshin the sword saint and father owl are no 1 and 2 for me..not their inner versions but the og's..amazing fights due to the stellar combat in sekiro.
I'm about to play Bloodborne for the first time today and the amount of hype for the DLC is unreal. Thank god I managed to grab a copy of the GOTY edition with the DLC included. Soon I will join the hunt.
One thing about Owl that is really cool is he uses all the same abilities that you do being the shinobi who taught us. So we get to see what it’s like to be on the receiving end and overall it’s tons of fun. His moveset is challenging but it doesn’t feel unfair and has a satisfying flow to it. Amazing boss
Finally someone respects Laurence. I think the only lame thing about that fight is the fact that such an important character is just a reskin, but it's barely similar to the original Cleric Beast, it feels very different.
Not that anyone asked but my top 5 would have to be. 1. Sister Friede 2. Lady Maria (would be #1 if she was harder) 3. Gael 4. Isshin, the Sword Saint 5. Yeah I despise Sir Alonne's area, but I usually forget about it once I'm fighting him since it's so much fun. And my personal order changes all the time too, but for a video purpose that's not gonna fly. Had to put them in some order, and I'm sure it'll change over time
Great Series, would love to see something similar with areas!
Yes! Someone who agrees. Demon Prince is phenomenal. My personal favorite in the series next to Ludwig and Isshin
Sekiro has the best boss roster in my opinion
Man I remember watching this channel back in the days of Cuphead content and few Souls videos, in the days of text only. The commentary is great!
Sekiro combat fell so fluid, is the best i have ever played
I'm about to play Bloodborne for the first time today and the amount of hype for the DLC is unreal. Thank god I managed to grab a copy of the GOTY edition with the DLC included. Soon I will join the hunt.
Welcome to the league
Welcome I wonder who your favorite bosse will be all of them are so good in dlc
Best DLC in all of gaming imo
you'll be disappointed, i was
@@drago4178 I think dlc lives up main game not as much imo
Incredibly based for having Demon Prince that high. Most underrated boss
yea
You know what else is great ? This series of videos duh
Using demake footage is wrong.
Finally someone respects Laurence. I think the only lame thing about that fight is the fact that such an important character is just a reskin, but it's barely similar to the original Cleric Beast, it feels very different.
i think otakemaru is best boss in soulsborne-ekiro
Fun fact: puny flying chicken king of storms is actually Ornstein reincarnated by nameless king as a dragon. Mmm sexy lore
Where does it say that?
Not that anyone asked but my top 5 would have to be.
1. Sister Friede
2. Lady Maria (would be #1 if she was harder)
3. Gael
4. Isshin, the Sword Saint
5. Orphan of Kos
Note: I didn't get the ending in Sekiro where you fight Owl Father so my ranking may change when I eventually play through sekiro again.
Good video, but why the f is demon prince at number 3.
