I really love this event! It is like a roguelike-style game mode and I would say that it is 100% F2P. I hope that in season 2 they add other cookies to this mode or even new buffs
If they could atleast change the choices of power ups to pop based on current team that would be great. I dont want to be given “summoned creature gain..” “if you have atleast 2 of these element gain..” when i have no character that can benefit from those lmfao
As annoying the luck about this event is, it's very friendly to lower level kingdom as all cookies that appear are automatically max level, its rewards are also great and it's very fun to play. Maybe there should be another upgrade to increase luck?
Something I saw in my records is u need to have 1 bomber or ambush cookie, 1-2 healers, and 1 defense or melee cookie on your team. Hope this helps someone.
The game carefully “randomly” avoiding my only bad/rare cookie all run and asking me to change my only healer/frontline cookie into - choice of 3 common cookies
There really needs to be some sort of internal check to keep track of which cookie hasn't been swapped out yet so cookies that have stuck around are more likely to get swapped, bc in some cases the game wants u to swap a cookie u got literally the previous swap it 's so... (skull emoji)
My main issues is it takes a lot of time to do, like I feel like it’ll take me an hour just to finish all the energy things I have, also that it depends too much on rng. Sometimes I get a good cookie, then every time Its time to have a chance to swap maybe a common or rare cookie, the option is always asking me if i want to switch the good cookie instead. (When you get Golden Cheese, but it kept trying to ask you if you want to switch golden cheese, and doesnt let me change wizard cookie i have on my team) But my main problem is that its too time consuming

One time i got two ancients holly and pv, along with Burnt cheese, Gumball and sparkling, THEN IT ASKED ME TO CHANCE MY GUMBALL FOR GOLDEN cheese and i won. Number 902 on leaderboard
Fun fact, one time I got an amazing combination, amazing cookies, legendaries and ancients and someone called me, I needed to do some stuff and discovered the hard that the game doesn't save if you close the app
Basically the strategy is to get a summoner, as in this gamemode summoners are op, and from my experience, frost queen, golden cheese and pumpkin pie cookie are really useful in this gamemode😀

I got a good team 2 times on this event. The first one was a team of black pearl, capsaicin, pure vanilla, and i think carol and pastry. The 2nd one was a team that i got to 26M pts to, which was the team that consists of black pearl, wildberry, carol/pure vanilla, and pastry
My only dislike is that scores are time based so unless you have perfect buffs or a perfect team you just can’t get to the top % there has to be another way
The fact that your only complaints are that it’s luck based should say something about how good the mode is. Also… its a roguelike mode. It’s meant to be luck based. If you could choose the cookies this event would either be too easy or entirely p2w dominated as well.

I beat the event once, I got golden cheese cookie and capsaicin cookie. Every. Other.stinkin.time. I got muscle cookie, capsaicin, ginger brave, wizard, every common cookie that exists, and a every rare that exists. It would always shuffle through those non stop.
Soooo annoying today I rolled a capsaicin, pure vanilla, and golden cheese but my buffs were so bad and they kept making replace the good ones instead of getting rid of stupid pancake cookie and I was so close to beating my high score but didn’t

Yeah you do need good rng but if you get golden cheese round one you can build a team around her using 2 defense and 2 healers. I really understand some of this options, but ANGEL COOKIE? When I didn't finish the story mode I couldn't change the options yet, and if Angel Cookie was on the team I just accepted my fate. The best part is that when they gave options to change the cookies, NEVER was freaking Angel Cookie

I love this game-mode beacose it's random/rogue-like. Like that's the fun of it that it's compleatly random and gives you random things.
It's the first boss that absolutely screws me over. The constant stuns absolutely wreck my entire team if I don't have a good healer

There's a buff that only works specifically for Golden Cheese.
And the odds of getting both in 1 run is so low.
I think it's fair, because events based on luck don't give benefits to anyone, so everyone has the same chance

Gumball is actually pretty good for error busters due to atk spd down which gives cookies more time to use the skill
What I recommend is, The Kougin cookie, madiline, the attack speed buff, the dmg per attack speed. It shredds . Caviar Is also op
