The concept:
One act, one visual artist, one shared stage.
A creative culmination where unique and custom created works of art visually accompany live performances.
With a sound that encapsulates a dark atmosphere while nevertheless remaining unconditionally catchy, PVA create music that reconciles electroclash and EBM, acid house and punk, dancefloor and headspace, all without losing themselves stylistically in the process. On the contrary: Since their 2021 debut album, “BLUSH”, the London trio have established their own musical vocabulary that effortlessly fuses and develops seemingly opposing elements. The results have an industrial character with a sound that is at once urban and sinister - as if it were channelled directly from the year 2033. For REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL COLLIDE, the PVA sound will be translated into an audio-visual experience in which sound and image will merge on a gigantic LED wall through pulsating visuals by artist Michelle Bocker. Geometric visions will mesh with more fluid components inspired by underground culture and elements of the “BLUSH” cover artwork. PVA will perform “Bunker” and “Kim”, two tracks from their debut album, while the Crack Cloud cover “Drab Measure” will serve as both an homage and a completely original creation that combines all the group’s musical qualities. One thing is clear: PVA’s contemporary production tricks and unbridled love of experimentation are bound neither visually nor aurally to any conventions.
Reeperbahn Festival is the biggest club festival in Europe and the largest European platform for international pop culture and the music industry. Since 2006, for four days each September the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Germany has become the centre of the international music world and a sustainable interface between artists, the public, industry representatives and society. The Conference programme is aimed at professional visitors from all segments of the music industry from around the world.

COLLIDE verbindet Musiker*innen und visuelle Künstler*innen und kreiert ein einzigartiges ästhetisches Erlebnis.
Zwischen düsterer Atmosphäre und bedingungsloser Eingängigkeit realisieren PVA einen Sound, der Electroclash und EBM, Acid House und Punk, Dancefloor und Headspace miteinander in Einklang bringt, ohne sich dabei stilistisch zu verlieren. Im Kontext von REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL COLLIDE wird der PVA-Sound zu einem audiovisuellen Erlebnis, bei dem durch pulsierende Visuals der Künstlerin Michelle Bocker auf einer gigantischen LED-Wall Klang und Bild miteinander verschmelzen. Geometrische Visionen treffen dabei auf fluide Elemente inspiriert von Underground Culture und Elementen des „BLUSH“-Cover-Artworks. So performen PVA mit „Bunker“ und „Kim“ zwei Tracks ihres Debüt-Albums, während das Crack Cloud Cover „Drab Measure“ Hommage und gänzlich eigene Kreation zugleich ist.
