@1:15:05 He's absolutely right about give your strategy time. The longer you use a strategy, the more you'll understand it's strengths and weaknesses. It shouldn't matter if it takes a year or two to start being consistently profitable. It took me about two years to see if my strategy works then started to become consistently profitable making great income. When you lose money, all you're doing is paying market tuition, similar to paying college tuition🤷🏽♂️you're paying yourself to get better and better. Don't worry about the money in the beginning, worry about the craft itself..the money will follow.

I really resonate with Ralph especially when he talked about taking $600 to $97,000 and then losing most of it. I traded my personal account from £200 to £1,000 in a month and then got greedy and overconfident with my strategy, turned up the leverage, took it to £3,000 the next month then a bad trade wiped it down to £150. The market really humbled me and taught me to be patient, trust my process and learn from my mistakes. Thanks Calvin & Ralph for the great advice in this interview! 💯

I doubled an account 4 times in year. Had a trade in during the “flash crash” and got hammered by not having a stop in. Ended up going on a losing streak, got undisciplined. I had a good strategy and good skills, good feel for technical candlestick patterns. I quit trading after that for several years but I am getting ready to step back in with a good plan. I am working on a personal journal to keep myself accountable. Good money management and written goals are huge in trading profitably over time.

I dont know but its kind of weird for me and I dont exactly understand why it happens that way but when I stopped using stop losses I becaame more profitable. I have not used a stop loss in over a year. FYO if I have to go somewhere or go to sleep I will trow in a stop loss just to protect my account but other than that no stop losses.
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t copy trade to your personal account. If you have taking payouts why wouldn’t you copy trade and u can set ratios to reduce lot size to your personal account.

TP is made so that you can set it and walk away...if your standing there in front of your monitor why would you let it stop a pip shy of your "TP" if you see buys are slowing down..if the momentum is slowing down via candlesticks indicating so..take what the market has given you...a TP is made for swing trading type shit..
