bit of a correction to your video about the lower frets. This is not a PDP idea it's actually a Rock Band thing and probably a requirement for PDP to put them on. In Rock Band games (all the way back to Rock Band 1) the lower frets could be used to play the smaller frets which had the white glow on top of them (I forgot what they are called) without strumming, essentially tapping on the strings if it was a guitar and to mimic this. The very first Rock Band 1 guitar had them and was a requirement for peripherals ever since for that functionality.

there are no non-microsoft wireless controllers for xbox that use their proprietary RF connection. some unlicensed controllers use bluetooth, but bluetooth isn't good enough for active gaming (rhythm games, fighting games, fps, etc.), that's why every pro controller uses a dongle in addition to bt compatibility, the bt is just for using with your smart phone. and before anyone says it - no, Nintendo Switch and it's controllers HAVE bluetooth, but they don't connect to the switch using bluetooth, look it up.

I never liked the GH strumbars or the buttons. When RB came out with their strumbars and buttons, I never gone back. So happy this controller is like a RB controller!
The lower frets, a feature of rock and guitars and later guitar hero ones, foldable neck, a feature on rockband guitars, man kinda knows nothing about these guitar controllers…
Can you test if DJMax Respect V is compatible? It's a music rhythm game on PS4, Xbox, and steam. If the guitar works for it, I just might have to grab one.
I love that they added the joystick and the foldable feature. That being said I'm not paying almost $150 for a modified rock band guitar.
That's about what you'd pay for a well built modded guitar hero controller, or you can risk eBay and buy something that may or may not work for very long.
I played so much GH back in the day that it ruined my hand. The songs just kept getting harder and harder as the titles were released and had to just call it quits. I can't even play it anymore because of the pain that I get in the back of my hand.
I would get PDP Riffmaster Guitar but they might bundle it with the remake of rock band for ps5 switch and Xbox because they remake rock band
So it's the rockband jaguar but with a dongle.
I will say $130 ain't bad though
@@Blueninja-hj7qkthe price is the worst part lol
@nopityfac8609 better than gambling with the $300 eBay guitars
What game is this for?
Rockband 4 and Fortnite festival (soon)
The Jaguar was foldable.
Ugh, spongy strum bar is a deal breaker for me, especially at that price.
Can RockBand 2 guitars work with this dongle?
Without even testing, I can guarantee it won't
Remote controllers were never $70 neither
I'm waiting for Fortnite Festival to release more songs I would even want to play, and in the meantime maybe another guitar will come out that has a clicky strum bar and/or more colors to choose from. Since I'm on PC, my Raphnet adapted Wii guitar can use a third party program to be used with Festival, I'm just waiting for my specific adapter to work with the FestivalInstrumentMapper utility
we got a solid handful of Metallica songs now, let's goooo
I mean, PDP also made the rock band guitars lol
Has anyone figured out how to get the whammy bar to work on Fortnite
I think the worst thing about that guitar, other than the non-tactile strum bar Is the fact that they chose to make it glossy like that. Just handling it for the video, the thing looks disgusting. They could've gone with a matte finish so at least it wouldn't only look good for the first 30 seconds after you take it out of the box
New Guitar Hero game, anyone?
If only 😢
I dont like the way those buttons look. Can I get a good clone hero player that uses GH guitars tell me how this is?
Why are people throwing hundreds of dollars at this when used guitar hero guitars are like 10 times better
Windler Forges
Used guitars are going for upwards of $200. I'd say the price is pretty far all things considered.
glad i got 2 used guitar hero and a fender rockband guitar for 5$
Johnnie Mission
Block Mountain
Cheyanne Ports
Jared Key

Lorna Shoal
Young Sarah Hernandez George Hernandez Maria

White Joseph Johnson Melissa Allen Jeffrey
Dongle for Xbox version? Dafuq
there are no non-microsoft wireless controllers for xbox that use their proprietary RF connection. some unlicensed controllers use bluetooth, but bluetooth isn't good enough for active gaming (rhythm games, fighting games, fps, etc.), that's why every pro controller uses a dongle in addition to bt compatibility, the bt is just for using with your smart phone. and before anyone says it - no, Nintendo Switch and it's controllers HAVE bluetooth, but they don't connect to the switch using bluetooth, look it up.
@@aeonjoey3d the pdp jaguar works without any kind of dongle on any xbox one onwards and it does not use bluetooth
same, i have the original set and 3 drums and my guitar connects with xbox one and series, no dongle needed@@dschidschi654
8 minutes of video and no actual gameplay…👍😐
