Great tool...got one in '99, that was damaged... from 'Guitar Center' USA...sent it back to the owner who was working out of his shop in Arizona still 'prototyping' the unit at the time-and he apologized profusely for the inconvenience (what a great dude) and I had an in depth talk with the man. Got a brand new one a week later (from his shop)...used it ever since. What a great tool! Just perfect tuning pitch every time...the real fucking deal! For those of you who think it's a sell, and can do it by ear...NO YOU CAN'T...get one ! Tympanic pressure cannot be measured by ear...but the DrumDial can do it .
Love the tone of the HigGig Toms in this video. Would you share the tuning numbers for the toms for the HipGig in a reply. Using Remo Ambassadors (for measurements) is fine. Also are the top and bottom the same measurement? thank you.

Thank you. I just got my DrumDial last week from you. Quick delivery. I've used it with so-so success on a Yamaha maple custom kit (Coated G2 top / clear G1 bottom); DW Custom (Coated Emperor top/ Clear Ambassador bottom) and Acrylic kit (Pinstripe top/clear stock 1 ply bottom). Tension wise... it always feel uneven to me (i.e. 1 lug is quite loose but showing 74; where as another has tension at 74). It is weird to think that bearing edge or head or rim is compromised on most of my drums on each kit. I watched all your videos... which are great btw. I will keep at it.
Yes, please see our other videos also. We did this brief video to highlight the benefits of DrumDial tuning, but only showed top head tuning because of limited time.
So.. I've had this device for about a year? And I cannot for the life of me, find a list of Toms and what tension they should be at. Any suggestions?! Thanks!
Here is a link to our tuning chart. www.drumdial.com/how-to-use/tuning-chart/ A tuning chart is included with your tuner also. We have timpani charts and tuning patterns on the website as well. If you need help with custom numbers, we can help with that. Forward your drum sizes and we will get some great settings for you!

Use 2 ply on the chart for coated 2 ply also. The numbers would be the same.
