My great great grandpa was in the 33rd VA. Infantry during the War between the states. I grew up in Harrisonburg VA. and on my father’s side most of my kin hails from the upper Shenandoah valley and the Potomac highlands of Eastern WV. I love the old percussion and black powder cartridge firearms. On my channel I posted a video of me shooting a flower pot with my Uberti 1858 new model army revolver with .45 Colt cowboy loads using my Howell cylinder. It looks like the Blue ridge in the background. Are you in the valley?

I have family from the 33rd Virginia Infantry company D! That’s awesome! My family is from the same areas…Cacapon, Winchester, and other parts of the Shenandoah Valley. I will have to check out your channel! This was shot at my home range in the Shenandoah Valley between Strasburg and Fromt Royal.
