Superhit Old Classic Hindi Movie Gazal (1964)
Starring: Meena Kumari, Sunil Dutt, Rehman, Rajendra Nath, Nazima,
Minoo Mumtaz, Prithviraj Kapoor.
Director: Ved-Madan, Producer: Ved-Madan
Synopsis: Agra-based atheist and revolutionary poet/editor of Inquilab, Ejaz, falls head-over-heels in love with Naaz Ara Begum after he hears her sing, and then ends up losing his job. With the assistance of his lovely sister, Kausar Ara Begum, Ejaz and Naaz meet secretly. This does not auger well with Akhtar Nawab, Naaz's paternal cousin, who plans to marry her. To make matters worse, their meeting is witnessed by her enraged dad, Nawab Bakar Ali Khan, who initially asks Ejaz to leave, and then decides to teach him a lesson - with two loaded rifles.

Outstanding movie with an ordinary routine storyline but very good screenplay it was a good movie of Meena Kumari Sunil Dutt Prithviraj Kapoor Rahman and Rajendra nath also..Meena Kumari Loos awesome in this movie as ever...rehman did good in a comic role with grey shade...nazima as sister of Sunil dutt was also good and danced well ..meenu mumtaz mujra type song was good...songs and music were great ... especially the title song three versions...a good movie with excellent screenplay...must watch for fans of Meena Kumari...Sunil dutt ...
