We were getting ready to go out. She knows our “getting ready” routines and starts asking for treats before we’re ready. We have always given her a nice bully stick just before we walk out the door so she doesn’t associate our going as stressful but rather, enjoyable. She starts demanding to have it immediately once she knows we’re going. If we give it to her too soon, it will be gone before we go! Negates the whole purpose! Husky’s have a reputation of being destructive when their owners leave them alone. We have used this method of a goodbye treat for a long time and it has worked very well. She gets bites of our food at meal times, home made dog food and treats throughout the day so I assure you she is treated like a queen every day.

You can tell just by looking... this poor dog is malnourished..on the verge of starvation. Also signs of physical abuse and neglect.

My dog does that for my 'dog walking pants' if I don't have them on, she goes and gets in her favorite sleep spot.

My give did the same thing and she loves watching snow dogs and eight below. She will just lay there staring at the tv. I say to her you watching your people and she gives me a look as if to say shhhh mum
@@janinemaxwell4297 I live in North Texas where fluffy dogs are not very common. Everybody thinks my tri-color is a mini husky till they hear her bark. I have a neighbor who has an entire sled team. They are the sweetest pups and they love interacting with the Shibas. Blessings to you !!!

This is what my grandson’s husky does when he wants to go out on a walk. His persistence usually pays off. …at least with me.

Lol. I had a (probably) Husky/Doberman cross, who seemed to have gotten all his personality from the Husky side. He was teasing his adopted sister and went a little too far, and got nipped. He cried and wailed like he was being murdered, and when I ran to check on the damage he collapsed on his side, still whimpering - the subtitles would read “I’m dying, mom, tell Midden I forgive her!” I checked his owie, he’d lost a bit of hair and it probably did hurt, but no blood. I gave it a rub and said “it’s ok, you’re not going to die of that!” And he was “oh, I’m not? Ok, then!” And he got up and went back to playing. But he was definitely more respectful after that when Midden indicated that she’d had enough.
Oh yes, they are so dramatic! Ours got a scratch on her back from something (not sure what) but she was so withdrawn and sad that we were worried enough to take her to the vet. She was fine and started acting like her usual spunky self a day later.
She will play with the kitty until we hear a yelp and then she leaves him alone. It took a few months of "yelps" before she finally learned to respect when he no longer wants to play. Her enthusiasm for "play" is endless so the fact that in our other videos with her playing with the cat, she suddenly walks away, shows me she has learned to read when he is done.
I think your Husky needs a Victorian fainting couch.

My Calico kitty can tell time (have a Gradfather clock that chimes). She knows that 5 o clock is her snacky time and waits by the snack container while reaching out with a paw to remind me it's time.Every single day.
Oh my goodness!!! That’s so cute!! My Jerry cat does the same! Somehow he knows exactly when it’s time for his canned food, which he loves so very much- (he has a constant feeder for dry food). Sits there and taps me! It’s how he got me to take him home from the Humane Society. Kept tapping me on the shoulder through his cage. 😄

I don't mind that so much, as I'm trying to learn the words to the Song of His People. That became much easier when I found out there's a different song for every little annoyance. These dogs are obviously starved, abused, and neglected.
A particularly telling sign is the husky's vocalizations. I happen to be a husky expert, and I can tell you that this breed is particularly stoic, and not given to dramatics. The poor dog's actions show just what a desperate state it's in.

I never thought I’d own a Chi as I’ve always favored larger dogs but I picked her up into my arms at the rescue and she put her little head on my shoulder and that was it!!! The small dog is over wieght
Well she's 84 yrs old and sleeps all day! She's only a little over weight according to the vet and said it's ok. She thins out naturally in the summer. Even the Husky has some winter weight but it will go away in a few weeks as Spring is here! They both eat more during winter months. This is normal and related to the days of old when they had to survive through winter in the wild- according to my vet.
Thank you doctor. You just cruise the internet body-shaming dogs or are you taking your meaningful mission into the streets? Gods work!

@@jodie4609 She is my first but my husband’s third. I was able to stay home for the first 6 months of her life and thus spend many hours teaching her how to be the amazingly well behaved girl that she is. The Chihuahua (Winnie) is also excellent at teaching proper dog pack behavior and at 12 yrs old has raised a few very well behaved doggos. Winnie is Alpha. She’s 12 pounds of powerful energy! I’ve seen her give a glance at the Husky that made said Husky’s back hairs ridge super high! With Huskies, you have to stay in parent mode while still allowing them to feel independent. Everything has to be their idea or they’re not gonna participate and if they feel they have the upper hand even for a second, they will start running the house! Fortunately, Leksei is extremely food motivated (obviously!) so that makes it easier to “manipulate “ her.

This is 100% natural. She is not being coaxed in any way. She always has a lot to say. Many Huskies are like this. Very vocal all the time. They don't have a true bark. This is the way they communicate. She does know the command to "speak" but in these videos, it's all her deciding when to "talk". We have several conversations a day. This is just who she is. Watch all the vids. You'll see.

Hahaha!!! Fortunately she’s been healthy and is not familiar with that word! The funny thing with her is that she’s so stubbornly independent that if I say “Come here”, she walks away and if I say “bye bye, see you later”, she comes over to me. So I have to resort to reverse psychology!! 😄
