You haaaave do a song from NOTM. They went went wild with sampling on that album
I don't know how did they even come up with that, sounds fucking death grips out of 10
I mean, it's obvious. They heard that bit in a track, thought it would sound cool looped and then they just made a three part layer out of the same loop. Pretty basic observational and production skills.

@@suziel1528 uhhh they are. Most of their samples are just simple loops. They sampled 2 songs on their album from a COMPILATION of African music. They don't even crate dig lol
@@beefknuckles uhhhh they aren't. the sample picks might not be that complex but the amount of production and thought behind every single sound they use is inmense, it makes their aesthetic so raw and unique
@@beefknuckles dont really matter if you crate dig or not, you can still make something impressive with something you can easily access

i like that the three chops are color coded to the romanian flag because that is where death grips are from

Yeah this sample needed a thorough explanation cuz I listened to Yereyira like 8 times trying to find Get Got and I couldn't fucking find it lmao
It's incredibly trippy hearing random noise, Get Got, then back to random noise
DG so stealthy at sampling that sometimes you genuinely can't tell they did it. I honestly thought that synth was something they came up with
The editing and smooth transitions between the different pieces of the sample and the song itself make these videos even better.

Rumour has it one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.
