Sericulture department is an important wing of department of Horticulture, Punjab. This documentary shows a description on Sericulture activities in Punjab. This is an allied Agriculture activity for empowerment of farmers of State. Sericulture is a labor intensive activity that paly a very significant role in increasing the income of farmers. Farmers (Men & Women) should start this activity to increase an additional income of 25,000/- to 30,000/- annually by doing 3-4 Sericulture Crops in a year.
