I loved how the actor cracked at the very end of Sally Lindsay's scene!
The Australian version of this scene was much better
I find it rather amusing that I came here to vrelive the memories of watching this on tv, only to find myself in a cyberspacxe warzone between Brits and Aussies...
michael bombed but i felt like sally was doing an excellent job at improvising a coherent scene. it just ended up being straight rather than played for laughs, which certainly, it should have been.
This is the same as Julia Morris' sketch, Both hilarious!
'woried about so many things. mainly that i'm a stripper' LOL!!!!
Damn, I was expecting Michael Macintyre to be better.
Armchair comedian time:
"Have you seen the acts on this ship?"
"Have you seen the acts on Broadway?"
Michael I LOVE YOU
UK version seemed to be hampered most by the supporting actors who stuck to the script to much, the actual comedians did a gd job most of the time, some were brilliant but with improv those around you have to be able to improvise aswell, this versions big flaw. Otherwise the UK and Aus version are near level of quality
nicely edited
its in their contract to follow the same scenarios
I rekon the UK version rocks pretty well too. And im aussie.
Have we set sail?
i think webeffect was referring to the set props.
ermm...... this is exactly the same scenario that julia morris did in the Australian Version....
exact same wording and everything
Same thing as one of them in Austrailia
Atrocious is a very kind word.
aussie vergen is defently the best
Original is the best, but this is still much much better than the american one..
there was an american one?
Aussie one is awesome, the american one SUCKS!!! the english one is a bit early to tell but quite good so far. actually this is all i've seen so far, do you know where i could see other episodes?
but I like the supporting cast better on the australian one
Hmmmm, it's no where near as good as our Australian version but 10 points for giving it a go :)
poor michael being dragged by the sketch instead of shaping it.
where can i find the first episode uk version?
I want to like this like a million times. Eurggh why would they copy the exact script, its so annoying!
Hee hee hee! Aww, isn't Sally Lindsay a lovely wovely woman?
The 1 thing that hampers the UK version is the supporting cast who stick to the script to much, otherwise the UK version would be pretty close quality wise to the Aus version, the American version is lacking though
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7:40
I think this version is really good, just as good as the aussie version. The US version is well, awful. lol.
yea tbf our version wasn't as good as the original, but i thought our british comedians were good on the Australian version which was good. :) and the Australian comedians on this version were really good as well.
the American version was just atrocious.
in terms of quality of laughter i'd say original is best but i agree that the set props in the UK version are great. Australian version props are ok, but they aren't the best.
why is there always a fuckin feud between aussies, brits, and yanks? the world would be boring if all the former colonies and commonwealths had the exact same culture as britain....and i notice on alot of these brit show comment boards american hatred comes up for no reason, why is that?
.... children's clothes and everything...
Michael McIntyre has developed the art of being unfunny,Kelly. He's safe possibly cuddly but grossly over-rated generic comedian. Yet extremely popular.Personally,I prefer Ross Noble and in the states Dave Chappelle and Louis CK but there's room for everyone and every taste I guess :)
i think the julia morris version was funnier but this wasnt bad
she's an actor, but doesn't do much impro
@rachelmacc Absolutely not
@rachelmacc big fat NO
after hamish blake this sucks
who cares? its funny end of arguement
Every country has a different sense of humour, just the american one dosnt really suit the show.
Christ, that sucked.
this is the same ski as julia morris' hers was better
I think that, regarding how nervous she was, she turned it around brilliantly!
