My family has been in hotel industry for 27 years and Neal is providing extremely valuable information for anyone looking to get into the hotel industry. Top Notch. Great Video.
Thank you, Neal. I learned more about how to evaluate a hotel from you in 30 minutes than through days of research online. Do you have to be a current hotel owner to be a member of AAHOA, or can you be a prospective buyer and still join?
Hay great work mr Neal i am the first time buyer who need help on every step how to buy hotel . How someone like me contact someone like you who have a lot of experience please need help here
I am in the industry. He is speaking absolute facts. Even during the pandemic, my hotel is still booming. Home2 suites by hilton. Thank you for the information bros.
Did you pivot to local clientele? Or did your local government not restrict corporate travel like California and other blue states? We are an economy level independent with 28 rooms but had a record breaking year. Our success came from the local clientele. What part of the economy/society contributed to your success?
Hey man, Really enjoyed this presentation. Host: Excellent questions man - hit the nail Guest: Intelligent answers focused on How - to and real scenarios I'm really happy you didn't hold back - I am attracted to this industry, and you are giving me direction. Thanks!
Appreciation is more valued than a raise! Amen, brother! Every turtle needs a carrot. And a good General Manager finds out what each employee needs to stay motivated.
Here’s a story for you, I live at a motel with my family and kids because no one will rent us and rent has become too high for the average black man. So anyway today the water heater goes out in the hotel. And I seen the owner with 10 Indian men I’ve never seen before coming to replace it, they could have been his family and friends. The only time I’ve seen 10 black men together is when we are getting drunk or taking drugs smh
Can i encourage you man, it's not about "average black man" it's what you do to make income. Dream it and do it, hassle man and don't give up! Good example though about indians!
I was just at a barbershop with over 20 black men talking about businesses... I get the sentiment, but there's no need to tear anybody down to motivate
I don’t think there’s any where else in the world with the ultimate blend of communism and capitalism provided by the culture of Gujarat, India. Listen to his story. His family moved from India to the U.S. They worked at a bottom-of-the-food-chain motel in Laurel, Mississippi (population 15,000) for six months. Based on just six months of experience, their Indian relatives and Gujarat community gave them an interest free loan to buy their own hotel. Because of that unique communism/capitalism culture, more than 70% of hotels in the U.S. are owned by immigrant families from Gujarat, India. Just ponder that. It would be like 70% of all the hotels in Europe being owned by families that moved from Nebraska.

So many Patel’s own hotels! 😂
Isn't that kind of lending to "the family" not following nondiscrimination, minimum interest, and definition of "family" laws illegal? Very organized.
