  • Morag Gamble (www.ourpermaculturelife.com and permacultureeducationinstitut...) goes walkabout with Australia's favourite TV presenter Costa Georgiadis of ABC Gardening Australia (www.abc.net.au/gardening/) to rave about urban food growing, urban food forests and ideas and gardens that inspire them.
Join Morag and Costa's walkabout and enjoy their lively and very informative conversation, all filmed by Morag's 11yo daughter and permaculture apprentice.
Costa, Morag and Maia were in Melbourne together at the Urban Agriculture Forum 2018 (www.uaf.org.au/2018-program/), held at the William Angliss Institute - the home of this amazing downtown food forest courtyard and the Master of Food Systems and Gastronomy (coursedetails.angliss.edu.au/f....

This is fabulous! Australia is leaps ahead of South Africa. Mr Costa is intelligent and practical - his enthusiasm is contagious and entertaining. Thank you Morag.

This is my goal….I didn’t know there were others. I have some land in both a farming area and an urban setting…I have the vision. I am inspired. My biggest obstacle is I can not learn fast enough or do enough and I am not that educated in gardening….I am so glad I found this channel and this particular video. I’ve been thinking I was coo coo. This is just the inspiration I needed. Thank you so much!!! I have some things I need to wrap up, but this is my long term goal and I now am inspired to get going and finish up the stuff that is preventing from trying to start a non profit organization that can help the City I live in provide for the many homeless in fresh nutritious food. Thank you both~. You are impacting the world!!

Costa looks like MASH character Klinger with a beard. On the serious side, the the things you discussed were well said by the both of you. A lot of wisdom being shared. Thanks!

It feels increasingly reasonable to expect local government to provide access to land and access to raised beds for home-croppers in convenient locations - a public good and a resilient asset for the future.

G'day George and Morag! I want to start a community food forest permaculture garden in my local community, 1770/ Agnes Water Qld! I've put notices out but heard nothing! Any ideas how I get a project off and running? Our council definitely doesn't get it! 👍💜

I love your vedios. Very informative and interesting. I am an urban gardener grow a few vegetables on rooftop. I would love to know how Permaculture can be adopted to rooftop container gardens. I hope that's possible.

No disrespect, but what did he say..? You can be sooo enthusiastic but if you can’t put your message across... you must take a course in marketing.🙏

The solution is found deep within Costa's beard. So far, no one has been brave enough to try and reach it
