As some of you asked for, Pure Z-Arc. Had small misplay vs Rescue-Ace at 8:33, should have wiped his board right away, not let him get a search, but we got him in the end. Overall not huge fan of this deck as it's built like a 1 card combo deck but without 1 card combos, so it just feels wrong to me. Think once we get Melodious cards that version of the deck will be way more viable. Hopefully you enjoyed the video and don't forget to comment, like and subscribe! Will post 2 more advanced combos on the weekend! ❤
I feel the same about the deck. The video was great though showing what it can do and where it falls short. I love that pure objectivity :D How do you feel about the other trap and the good Z-Arc, I play that ass well in this version, it does help sometimes as a backup plan and it doesn't hurt the deck consistency that much. I've seen people include triple tactics talent and thrust asswell but I feel they're not that good at 1 and 2 of each seem too many, also what to cut then.. Maybe a 44 card deck with more than half of it being non engine is actually fine here but I can't play like that, makes me nervous..
@@igororeskovic4586 Think you are fine running either of the traps, just with other one you play Solfachord link cause that prevents Z-ARC being negated so you get that board wipe. I am huge fan of Talents in Pendulum decks so for sure you can play it, think cutting maybe 1-2 handtraps and/or Designator for 2-3 Talents would be fine. Don't like Thrust personally, but in Z-Arc is nice cause of trap so maybe worth trying.
@@SuperNix I know the extra deck is ultra tight here because of Z-Arc and his materials but isn't SKD Starving Venom worth including somehow aswell because of it's versatility.. I know it's kinda meme but there is a chance for the Venom play that everyone speaks about but never get to try of copying Revolution's effect from the graveyard. If uninterupted that can be an OTK from full HP if we still have our normal summon and least lightwurm to play, or if the opponent's lifepoints are 5600 and below then Starving Venom can swing for all the hp himself :D
@@SuperNix I agree. Not many monsters in general :D Without Irises, the pendulumgraph cards and pendulum evolution there is far less abundance.. Even though the deck is better into Maxx C I hate having so few options when I actualy get to do things.. Resource management. We want negates and Z-Arc. However.. Since our deck is a big search engine. everything can search for darkwurm, so summoning 2 is not imposible or the other one can be either lucky Joker, Astrograph or even.. Rebellion xyz.. And then..instead of standard useful play like serching for small dragons with our Revolution, we scale and pop Revolution and ss our dead Rebellion :D And then in stead of going for something reasonable like Vortex or Borreload we make .. Venom, do a meme copy of something and lose :D
I think it's important to show losses as well as wins. It was clear you were in a losing position in that second-to-last duel, which is sad, but it happens sometimes - you can't win everything! Personally, I love the Z-ARC deck entirely for reasons of personal bias, and I will admit that. It makes me happy that the new support makes the deck able to win somewhat consistently, and especially bringing out the big man himself on your opponent's turn is fun! That said, I can see the problems with the deck as well. lol
In the first game, how would you have activated the trap? Don't you need a 2500atk on board to activate, or is there a way to special summon one on the enemy turn?
Yeah i didn't have enough bodies, had to either go for regular board or for Z-ARC play, couldn't do both cause i wanted to play safe and made Apo before Pendulum.
God I hate Super Polymerization, it feels so unfair, it should be made reasonable somehow perhaps remove the discard but make it so that it can only use one opponents monster like a kaiju.. Or keep the effect the same but make it counterable by something at least..
@@kurosakiichigo2693 Yes ofc. Any true balance is imposible given the nature of this game so the only thing worth discussing is the fun factor. If the players are similarly skilled and good, the one going first in this game should win because the game promotes the infinite combo seting up for maximum interactions with the oponent and that is sometimes more than his starting hand. For true balance a resource limit per turn should exist, everything including all, be it destroyed or negated, also card gain or discarding the oponent mechanics should not exist and a tempo of say 1 special summon per turn should be reasonable enough. Since ofc that's not hapening all I care about is how fun somethng is to play and to play against. If someone is skillful enough to set up a board which denies my whole hand going second with a huge opening combo I'm not mad at that since that is what this game promotes as being the best. 1 card killing sometimes like 10+ in total combo card worth without a counter is neither fun, skillful or what this game promotes as best play. If I had to try to start balancing this game while keeping the combo spirit I would probably begin with removing omninegates, stunlock and board clear also I would limit the destruction/banish/return to hand or deck effects of any card to 1 per turn.
@@igororeskovic4586 So what do you mean is, board should be break with pure core deck without staple cards? If that so, handtrap shouldn't be exist because those are different version of interruption to make opponent board weaker than it should be, but unfortunately, every board now are nearly unbreakable, even meta deck are very struggle to break board, or even mikanko deck that specialist for going second also struggle when going second, that's why staple is exist, even though it's look braindead or not skillfull play but we have to play that because if we aren't use that this game will be coin toss game because going second will definitely lost
If you mean me personally that's hard cause i like them almost all, but let's say Pure DDD and Dracoslayers (with Pals engine) are my favorite. @@fafnirymd Let's assume we didn't draw out counter handtraps for the Maxx C so we are Maxx Ced. With magicians, we either pass the turn completely, make Bagooshka or all in for the win.
