Wow so many views and comments this is very nice to see. I said it in the video, I'm the luckiest guy in the industry to have the love and support of all of these people. I think that speaks for itself, I serve these folks day in day out. It's not just about the money, it's about the culture. #weareprivada
I’ve been a privada member for almost two years now and I might not like every cigar he puts out, or get all the flavors he does or puts on the cards!,.. but the Privada experience so far and the knowledge I’ve gained about the industry has been bar none!! Great interview.. #weareprivada✌️
Watched the whole video. Nice job! I’ve been a Privada member for more than three years and smoked a lot of nice and exciting cigars. We are also a community where being nice and respectful to others is constantly being preached by Brian. All this hate doesn’t make sense.
I loo forward to trying more LCA cigars, especially the Year of the Wabbit. I am sure this won't be the last time we interact with Brian and the Privada community, I am looking forward to getting to know everyone myself.
Very good interview! I loved that you also gave your perspectives and allowed Brian his. Loved that you were also well researched and respected source’s privacy. We need more people like you in this industry.
Thank you so much! I was lucky this time that I had recently met several people involved. Hopefully as this channel grows, we can get more access and insight to do more of these interviews.
New subscriber here - because you treated Brian fairly even though you appeared to have some reservations about Privada. I really enjoy the Privada experience, I hope you are able to work with Brian and the club in the future!
Thanks man, I really appreciate the subscription. It's easy to get caught up in the mob mentality. It took me a minute to stop and think about it to realize the bias.
Thanks for the great interview! I've been a Privada member for a couple years and Brian has been absolutely top-notch from day 1 in terms of customer service and attention to detail & quality. I have the great luxury of smoking pretty much whatever I want from Cuba or the New World and my Privada sticks are frequently the highlights of my month. Cheers!!
Hey Brian, enjoyed listening to your interview you get right to the point you give everybody respect but you didn’t take any crap. And it’s not just the younger generation you’re turning onto tobacco and 69 years old and ended up finding you on UA-cam. I’m kind of a Connecticut lightweight kind of guy. I smoked a mild cigars but the great thing is I can go to your store and find what I need. and it’s different than going to the brick and mortar. I’ve done that and it seems like a lot of the cigars that I get from them all seem to taste the same or when I buy cigars from Club store it’s a lot better experience, but I did buy the two LCA store cigars I figure eventually down the road I’ll be ready to step up to a banger. Ha ha ha I tried smoking in Medora, but it made my head spin so right now I better stick with the lightweight, mild cigars but again, thank you very much for turning me on to a hobby that I can sit out my backyard and drink Francella car, Lacour, and smoke a cigar. You’re the best keep up the great content and no one thing. You’re doing something right are they wouldn’t be trying to sue you or make you surrender. Never take down your flag Brian thanks again.
Paul if it wasn’t for you and a few others like you most of the joy this brings me would not be there. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve you my brother I have so many new things in the world for us all!
Bunny Droppings released Wabbit Season 2 years ago. The Trademark under consideration is The Year of the Wabbit. It depends on the case worker assigned to this one of whether he will allow Vitamin C (Bunny Droppings) to trademark the word "Wabbit" or not. If they are granted the trademark on the word, then VC will have a common law case. But even then, they still have to prove that it is confusing enough to consumers that only one entity can use the word.
Great interview! I live in the same area and Cigar State is the best shop in South Florida. Best prices I've seen out there and I get all my LCA smokes there. Thank you for your service from one veteran to another.
Kills me cause Brian is right about a lotta stuff, like how a lotta these stuffy storefront lounges with the same 5 guys smoking the same 2 brands and making everyone that enters feel uncomfortable (I'm young, mixed and from the hood, never felt welcome - especially when I moved South, my partner always gets the "this must be for your husband" treatment every time she's in a shop even though she knows more than most about it from seed to shelf, etc) just ain't gonna be the future of cigars but clubs (both COTMs and patch clubs like Ashholes, Distinguished Ruffians, etc), online platforms, lounges that can stay with the times, etc, are. There are more black, female, and free thinking people out there smoking now, it's not the same ol 60+y/o conservative white dude that gets stereotyped. But a lotta people don't recognize it. And he does access some very good stuff sometimes. But he's putting out at least 3 in his rare box, 4 in Farm Rolled, and a minimum of 2 to the LCA every month, they can't all be all that. Yet he swears they're all heat while the reality is a lot are mid as mid gets. The monthly rare box especially has just slipped. I was able to look past the arrogance and petty behavior for a while but the cigars just ain't what they used to be. I'm not hating, he's put out some stuff I still love and will buy til they're gone. But I can't be a member anymore, there's just too many better clubs out there. BL Luxuries, Small Batch, Luxury, Cigar Club, My Cigar Pack, etc, all smack and they aren't all white label blends from the same few makers over and over. Like I love AJ but it's to the point where it feels like half of what Privada puts out is from buddy. Enough.
This may be, quite literally, the only time Brian is not guilty of stealing someones IP 😂 I've never seen someone be so creative on the back of other peoples creativity. Mr Unoriginal! Dunkin, Cinnabon, Darth Vader, Scrooge McDuck, Sesame Street, Macy's Parade, Burger King and on-and-on with the rip offs. And the cigars are just meh. I know he plays like he's down with the factories and blenders etc. But in the words of Ernesto Padilla, 'who the fuck is Chico Rivas?'😂 Dude is good for those who are into cigars because they think it dresses up their social media page and makes em look sophisticated, or cool, or whatever but, in spite of what his own ego claims, isn't all that impactful in the industry as whole. Slightly moreso than this rabbit dude. Oh well, I digress, plenty of great cigars out there and always room for more clowns in the circus.
He ain't lying about that but Brian from privada emails messages to me from time to time and ask how im doing I've never swung on his nuts like some other members have and I appreciate that about him
@Republic of Debauchery I've been watching your videos more often now I really do think you should take up on Brian's offer you two can do wonders together 👍🏾
What I love about privada is every month I get new cigars I can not get anywhere in my area! I live in Minnesota and the choice selection is the bare minimums and privada offers all of those cigars and others I would never be able to get at a local shop! I also get introduced to new brands and then I am willing to try them from the site!
Never thought of that before. I'm down in Miami where choosing is tough because there are so many options. It never occurred to me that some areas don't get that type of variety. Thank you for your insight.
Yeah, that was a little shocking, but Reddit leans pretty hard on the hate side anyways.... except when it comes to Terence of Aganorsa, that guy is just loved by everyone.
Thank you for this. The bunny guy is definitely not my style nor is that humor. Brian brings a whole other level of swag that most do not have. Which is fine I just think a lot of the haters want to talk shit about Hillary. Don't shoot and stop exporting bullets, let's export cigars. Oh wait WE only make bullets to send. #weareprivada
It's funny you can tell a lot of people with the company they keep if AJ is such a great guy why would he do business with PC if they aren't good people?
That's one thing I don't understand. AJ is a phenomenal blender, don't get me wrong. The Cigar Clowns Ron and Not Ron, the K by Karen Burger 25, the Dorado, all the tobacco he provides for Foundation, Espinosa, and countless others, etc, dude is a titan. But he came up blending and/or producing those CI exclusive joints like Diesel, Man O War, Ave Maria, etc, for Scandinavian. He was extremely smart business-wise and used those "Walmart of cigars" type contracts to fund the stuff he really wanted to do down the line. But it's all business in service of his passion. He lives and breathes tobacco but experimental crops and hybrids and all that take funding. If he sees Privada as a steady partner of course he's gonna rock with em to keep those funds flowing so he can make the next T or Illusione Habano or whatever. Brian makes it sound like they're best friends but AJ is a smart business person. He knows that to do what he loves he has to pay for it. So he's working with all kinds of people, including people Brian has nothing good to say about. There's tons of pics with AJ with people like Caldwell, Matt Booth, Padilla, and others. AJ is running a massive business, Privada is just a part of that.
AJ is the man. His reputation precedes him. He is one of the few manufacturers I have yet to meet, but so many people in the industry having nothing but good things to say about him.
Elaborate? I’m curious to hear why you don’t like him. Do you have any valid, true information that backs you disliking Privada and Brian. I mean no disrespect I’m genuinely curious
Thank you for doing Research and allowing me to say my side
Thank you for the great talk, man. I had a great time and learned a lot.

Good interview, fairly done.
Thank you brother!
Awesome interview... great job maintaining a fair & neutral reportage and allowing Brian articulate his side of things!
Thank you for the kind words. Always trying to be fair, it's too easy to get caught up in the hype.
Well done on the interview, I really enjoyed it

Great interview. Got my Wabbits in my humidor right now. 😂
Have you tried one yet?
@@RepublicofDebauchery not yet, found ‘em while down in Memphis this past weekend. I’ll get to one soon tho.
I had one, finally. Wasn't in my wheel house of flavors, but the constriction was dead on.

The more one puts themselves out there, the more attention one attracts, good or bad. My experience so far, is good.

Somebody has too, ha ha! It's time for cigars to evolve.
So I never knew how much Brian is hated until I got on Reddit haha. 😅😬

Can we get a different between craft and boutique cigars?
Also what’s the math on how many cigars he’s dropping with YOFW? The math don’t work
Simple. Craft makes the product. Boutique buys the product and then sells it.
I'll have to go back and look at the math.
7 minutes in and I can't stand listening to his voice
Yo Privada is like Dylan! They put out hot fire!! For real great cigars
Great video
Big fan of privada and pumped as a cigar lover
Thanks man!
I'm just now getting into them. What's your favorite LCA cigar?
Read his descriptions on the cigars. ALL GIMMICKS

I find that in these situations, it's either people take the side of Privada or the other guy, very few are open to both, at least the vocal ones.
