Fascinating accent, I could almost swear you learnt English in northern England.
Never been to Turkey, but with a Greek mother who was extremely proud of her nationality, she probably would have fainted at the very idea. C'est la vie.

Timo the explorer 🤗😘!!! Wow!! Turkiye has so much history, and so much to see and explore!!! Routes passing through small villages are so much better than through the highway 👍. That's for sure 😉. Thanks for taking us to another excursion ☺️😅. Hope your legs feel better soon 💐👍

I tell you what , the mosaics are in much better condition than the ones in Malta & you pay through the nose to get in 😡which makes me really angry , it's daylight robbery . How lovely & kind that strangers B.B.Qing offered you food 😊 & Timo looking as handsome as ever 🤗✌️

Here in Turkey giving people close to you food if you are eating outside like this is a normal thing.

about your residency issues. Contact, written, by phone, and in person, your member of parliaments for Muğla. Same for CIMER. And interior ministry. raise awareness. Someone will do something. Networking and informal arrangements are common in Turkey. Bother them, so they won't bother you.
As the saying goes in Turkish, only the crying baby will get the breast.

Thanks. But you know? İts not just about me. I know of people that had to leave in the last few months. İt makes me puke. Not sure if I want to stay in a country thats run this way. İf i get older and want to move to a smaller house I will also have to leave because the property is bought after 2022 and won't be 200.000 euro worth. Do I want to wait for that? Don't think so.

Ah I see, sorry for the confusion. I did say in my first video of that tour that I wanted to do one last trip. This to keep the videos going and because I refuse to bend to other peoples will. Dutch stubbornness maybe but that is the reason haha. The first panic feelings are gone. In the mean time we are working hard to sort our problem and I will make a follow up video soon. Exciting plans coming. But is does not look good for my life here in Turkey.

Yes Turks and Greeks will always be a little touchy I'm afraid. I have lived with a guy from North Wales and my husband is American. Guess that gives a funny accent.

@@AtHomeInTurkey I am seventy and have lived in North London all my life, so when I am out and about I have contact with second and third generation Turks regularly. I get on with the majority fine, better than I do the Greek Cypriots. Middle class Greeks tend to hide out in West London, and shun contact with natives.
Anyway, your accent is fine, just very unusual, I could not put my finger on it.
