- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- Today we finish up corn planting for the 2024 season. We also demonstrate some new technology on the farm. Im excited to give the Starfire 7000 GPS Receiver, new John Deere monitor, and John Deere Autotrac 300 a try on our farm. Conditions have not been favorable. for weeks, but sometimes we just have to praise the lord for the good and the bad. Thanks for watching!

I would highly suggest looking at other options before you spend that much on the Greenstar especially just for steering. I wished I would’ve went another route and probably will. Agleader, Trimble and Outback are way cheaper and just as good. Agleader and Trimble will play with aftermarket and not brand specific.
I was looking into the steady steer for the agleader and got to try this out. We will see in the end.
We use rtk but sf1 will work. When you leave the field for any time pull into last pass and center your line to that pass to compensate for satellite drift
That’s kind of what I figured I would do. It’s nice having it. Thanks for watching!
Man yeah, you ha e moved right on up in the world with that auto steer, that is amazing!! So cool they can adapt it too any tractor!! Corn is looking amazing and the wheat!! Hope beans and hay went well too!! Look fwd to seeing what's next!! 😁😁👍👍🌾🌾🇺🇸🇺🇸🌱🌱🌽🌽🚜🚜 Oh and the ole 4250 looks great inside!! I would love to find a nicer big tractor one too 😁
Thank you sir! Yes the auto steer is great! Crops are looking good, minus the wheat on the ground. Baled hay today, and hopefully tomorrow before the rain. Hopefully it will hold off
@@RouthFarms Fingers crossed y'all can get it finished up!! Well you had an idea on the wheat at least so not a surprise. But man the bushels it will make!! 😁😁🤞🌾🌾🌾
Looks great. You’ll love the autosteer. Might not seem like it but you’ll feel better at the end of the day not having to drive so much. Great video
Thanks, I appreciate it! Yes sir, I believe I will. It’s amazing how stressful it is trying to drive and keep a check on everything else.
Good vid Luke! Hope you grow in acres too!
Thanks, I appreciate it! Me too.
Lookin good! glad to see you figgured out the seed bag . haha. Not sure how that autotrack hardware works, but I know with an AgLeader SteadySteer you can buy one 800 or 1200 display, one steering motor, and one GPS globe and just need to buy a mounting adapter for each tractor/sprayer/combine. Can carry the whole setup from tractor to tractor and snap it in and go. May be cheaper for ya in the long run.
I have an 800 monitor, and was looking into getting a steady steer unit and got to try out this one out.
good
Thanks
My Son is a Fanatic for Auto Steer, We have 2 5115Ms that he put those systems in.... our 6145R and the 6R145 came factory equipped...... 6 years ago we ceased Row cropping Cotton and Peanuts for Commercial Hay Only..... We Round bale in the field, haul& Store, Then rebalei into small squares, right out of Baron and into 53ft trailers, for delivery to TSC stores... We also sell to Drive in customers, both round and square single, 21 bale bundles, and 4x6 rounds... The auto-steer is used extensily in Mowing, Tedding and Raking, even Baling.....
That’s awesome. I used it a little when mowing hay this week. I can definitely tell it would be awesome to have. Takes a lot of stress off.
We cut abut 5 10" rounds around the perimeter, then up and down, each cutter making his own swath..... Auto-Steer allows the last pass to be dead on width wise, No over width or under width passes to clean up.. perfectly square swaths....
Nice video
Thanks
