Never liked the gambling round; always felt like you'd walk out with less than you did in the first rounds. It's not a bad bonus round; personally I'd make that the final round with alternating guesses, but there's a reason I don't produce these things.
For a while now there has been an episode of the Serbian version of this show from around the same time as Dylan Lane's original version. That video is a more identical foreign take on the show versus what is shown in this video.
Nathan Lane hosting a game show would be interesting... I think he would at the very least be more entertaining than Dylan Lane. Mike Catherwood was actually quite good though. If you could have him hosting with everything else being identical to the 2021 version, you'd really have something. As it stands, Bill Cullen's version is still the best by a good measure.
Unbelievably, this was the first version of _Chain Reaction_ I ever watched. Thanks, Wink, for bringing back the memories!
I remember GSN promoted this at every possible turn in the summer of 2015.
And it coincided with the rebranding with the diagonal text logo.
I like this Version of Chain Reaction. And Dylan Lane says at the end of each shows Reaction time, times flies.
21:09; A "down the wire" moment at the last second. Amazing!
I've always have LIKED this gameshow!! I like the modern day version of it, too ;)
Very good 2015 Chain Reaction episode!!
9:18; This game show doesn't have speed chain bonuses just like Dylan Lane show since 2007.
18:14; If the team reaches $0 in the betting round, the game is over, and the team with the most cash wins.
This has always happened.
This is very rare thank you Wink for this rare treasure.
I like the original Chain Reaction with Bill Cullen that aired on NBC and produced by Bob Stewart and was this on Game Show Network?
The Superchain was one of the hardest Bonus Rounds of all the Chain Reactions.
@@richardhernandez4490 I’ve only ever counted three times the winners took the 5k. I wonder if GSN had that outcome in mind… 😏
I’ve been looking for these episodes, Winker! TY!
Now if someone can get me the think cues, we’ll be in business.
Hey, I remember this version. Not a bad little version it was.
18:17; The final chain in the betting round is:
Slow burn, burn rubber, rubber chicken, chicken finger, finger food, food coma.
I don't know.... seems like the speed chains are missing.
Only Dylan Lane did the speed chains.

Wow 1 second left on the clock ⏰ wow $8,000 congratulations you both
I feel that this is better than the Nathan Lane version. Too many “battle of the sexes”.
You mean Dylan Lane?
