Although this is obviously much better produced than the other Sheldon Reynolds series of Sherlock Holmes - it still has many flaws well beyond appreciation. Holmes and Watson did not live in the refined comfort of Victorian aristocrat lifestyles as this series puts forward. The two bachelors were middle-class and far from the Upper Crust. Seldom (according to Doyle) was Holmes' apartment tidy and clean. Holmes often had old food trays, poisons, guns, and books strewed everywhere. This series IS much better than the productions done 10 years earlier by Hollywood which gave the duo cars, airplanes, and Nazis (none of which neither had ever ridden or had access).
The Rathbone & Bruce movies of the 1940s were great in all parts of production. However, they were also far from the Arthur Conan Doyle stories. For one thing - those movies were made 100% in Hollywood and dealt largely with the troubles of WW2 - Nazis and Hitler. Doyle had been dead for 20 years when Hitler came to power. Holmes and Watson never road in cars nor airplanes - nor heard the word "Nazi." I would suggest anyone interested in the Sherlock Holmes adventures to buy Doyle's stories from Amazon for reference. And they also make Great Xmas presents for growing and intelligent teenagers.
Finally a Dr. Watson with charm & intelligence. A suitable companion & helper for Holmes...
Love that they address the "tweeds in town: I'm Sherlock Holmes."
Remembers me of the "tweeds in the morgue?" of The Abominable Bride actually
I'm so happy that it was made partly in Poland - my country and that more people can watch it now. This is worth it. ❤👍
I love Lestrade-he's always many steps behind Holmes

Two characters in a scene & they both already know the info ...bad writing...yes I know they are informing the audience & have little time TS 4:07
