The way things are going in the world, you're doing us all a great service by keeping these vans and cars out of the scrapyard and in the hands of people who can make use of them at an affordable price.
"I just polished a few quid into that one!" I loved that line, and how true! Excellent project and video guys. It will make someone a great commercial unit for very reasonable money. Nice work.
When I take decals off I use a rubber eraser wheel chucked up in a drill. Works better in my opinion than a heat gun, it takes off all the vinyl and adhesive but doesn't damage the paint.
I was a bit disappointed when you guys said you were dropping back to 2 videos a week (even though I understood why) but have to say I think the content itself has improved as a result. The videos you are putting out seem more thorough. Keep up the good work lads. Nice little flip this one! 👏👏
The filming , presentation and content gets better and better. It’s channels like yours that means I watch very little TV anymore. Great van for someone also.
love watching you and chris working together you always seem to have a good laugh while cracking on with the work, the quick flips help the cash flow of the longer projects , its nice to see you guys make a profit as you always take pride in your work how ever big or small the project so the profit is always well earned, thanks for the content guys 👍
It's great how happy and excited you get when you're doing these types of turn rounds. Just shows how much you like doing the work you're in. Vans and motor homes are great for the channel, along with cars, obviously. Love watching motorhomes come together.
I don't know what it is but there is something satisfying about watching these videos. From start to finish they are brilliant videos to chill out to and gain knowledge on. Great work lads. Another brilliant video.
Glad your surgery has worked for you. I enjoy your videos you work well together. Hard to think Chris used to not like being on camera. Nice genuine men doing good work and not ripping off anyone.
Rob I was in the printing industry for 29 years we used 3M citrus cleaner comes in spray can excellent for breaking down the adhesive left behind worth a try one can goes a long way. 3M™ Citrus Base Cleaner is a liquid cleaner/degreaser used to help dissolve and remove dirt, grease, tar, and many non-curing type adhesives. It can also be used in some cases to degrease substrates for adhesive bonding in place of many chlorinated or petroleum based solvents. In many cases, however, the cleaner will not substitute for etching or similar substrate preparation.
Great video, I like the quick turnaround ones. I can't get over how tidy it is for its age, both inside and out. It's really going to be a great van for someone. Top work. 👍
$5,000 for a long wheelbase van that 12 years old with only 72,000 miles in good running condition and still looks good? That is indeed a good buy! The only Ram Promasters I can find in that price range are totally crashed, wrecked and never to run again ones. I also like the low stance the European version of this van has and the lack of the roof clearance lights and black plastic wheel arches.
Salt of the earth motor trader putting value back into the market and helping businesses survive the absolute joke of this UK VAT economy, if it wasn’t for honest genuine businesses supporting each other where the government fails, this country would fold. Bless you mate and wish you all fortune in future.
It's very satisfying to do a job like this ,with a bit of time and effort it's transformed a workhorse into a very clean and tidy vehicle with the potential to be converted into a camper or back on the road as a workhorse again .top job chaps as always 👍
Cracking video guys . I've never understood the run it for a bit then drop the oil. Surely it was warm when parked up so all the oil would be in the sump if not more than running it for a it a bit after letter it sit overnight.
Great videos guys, love watching your rebuilds. Try MEK for sticker residue (glue) used with a cloth (not blue roll) it makes light work of removing the glue, cheers
Hi Rob,Chris I find the best thin for removing glue residue is Autoglym tar remover it leaves a slight powdery finish when it drys so very easy to clean it off properly van looking good cheers
Do that way raw acid wheel cleaner aswell beetween 5mm too 10mm off raw acid wheelcleaner in scooshy bottle top rest up with cold water means dont damage stuff
Firstly Rob how nice it is to see you round the business side of the desk😉. A cracking van guys someone will be very pleased with that....don't forget that yucca plant up the corner....Thanks guys take care...
Great to see another commercial on here, and what a transformation especially the little work it needed (in comparison to some of the wrecks you get in there) ---=--- *And now we're in Spring, it must mean you'll be getting a campervan or two in...?* FiNgeRs CrOssEd .🤞
Just bought my 2019 citreon back from insurance for 3k they wrote it off for nothing one of the best vans I've owned getting it repaired thanks to your videos encouraging it!
I am surprised you didn't clean up the inside of the back of the van or replace (maybe from the breakers) the torn cab floor mat and repair/replace the box floor board. Still you made some nice money with some 'sweat equity' and replacing the brakes, doing due maintenance so ready for the next owner. I am quite sure it will sell fast to some tradesman or someone who does deliveries and can't afford a new or newer van, especially in today's economy in the UK.
We need to see a bit more of your own stuff. I'd love to see a video series of your S1 RST restoration. Good work though lads. That van looks lovely now 😊👍
those vans are about 8 inches wider than most vans, so you can get a double bed in sideways across the back, ideal camper base no fuel filter rob [not bad to do, just pull out the l/h h/lamp] excellent work chaps
Get hold of some Tar and Glue Remover for taking the adhesive off,or white spirit can be better than petrol or thinners, doesn't evaporate so fast. Like you say though, not a nice job!
keep up the good work fella's, love the content! something different ALL the time. Really refreshing stuff, nice easy turnaround and you've done all the nitpicky crap that goes with buying a commercial vehicle. the new owner can purchase it and put to use immediately at an extremely fair price! love the channel boys and appreciate your insights and tenacity. Solid thumbs up as usual ;) X
Fiddlestix , wish that I had 4k , I'd have that motor in a heartbeat , hopefully you'll have another at the end of September , bustin' to get my licence back off the quack and DVLA , strokes are an absolute pain , hey ho , brilliant turn around ladz , I can see that one flying out the door , have a great week boys
Hi rob and Chris, great job on the van, well done on doing the break dices and pads, many people wouldn't have done that fair play lad's, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
BCA use steamers to remove decals of their commerical vehicles. They turn them around pretty quick. By steamers i mean the generic wallpaper remover thing. Fairly inexpensive would love for you guys to try it next time. Will make a good video to give it a shot.
I bet you wish you could get that sign writing off as quickly as it seems when you are time lapsing😅 Great van and should think you enjoy these quick turn arounds as a change from the more in-depth projects!
Great quick flip and will be a cheap van at 4k especially with that mileage, missed Chris at the end with you but I suppose it doesn't take both to do the numbers 🙂👍
wow what a difference that van looks now and that van will fly out the door once it's up for sale as that's a good price can't wait to see more keep them coming guys 👍👍💯💯💯
Superb video as usual lads ,WOW it did scrub up amazingly well and 4K for that is bargain central ,just to add Rob like you , i love it when you do these commercials .Thank you
Can't pinpoint it but definitely something fishy about that van at the start 🤔😂😂 on a serious note, that's one hell of a transformation and very easy money for you 👌🏻 excellent video again chaps 🙂
i brought my relay fully covered in sign writing also. i infested in a rubber wheel and its amazing then went over with buffer machine cant see a single sticker mark now
Great video Rob and Chris! Fantastic job, van looks like new. For future reference my husband used a caramel wheel to remove decals from his van 👍🏻 Love the channel 😁
Thanks for another great video, That van sure turned round in a hurry for a profit. Only thing I thought was it needed the back cleaned out a bit, so you didn't see that mess on the RH door as soon as you opened it. Does doing it make way more money probably not, it's just better presentation to match the outside and the cab being cleaned out as well. Take care guys
That’s a cheap van for someone, and looking good. At that price, if the purchaser wants to go that bit further and deal with the little imperfections, it still shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg 👍🏻
Love my big vans. The Citroen is an expensive van here in New Zealand I have a ford Transit M roof that is all I could get at the time close to where i live yeah its okay, it goes well and is due to have the clutch doing when we get back from the UK late August. Like this one mine was a commercial vehicle for Century batteries and it still has or you can see the graphics, needs a good mop polish. Would love one of these here in New Zealand. What product do you use for the plastic bumpers I brought and never got delivered a product by Cutify to put on the bumpers, it looked a nice product to bring the bumpers and trim up, What do you guys use to do that? I may look for that product when we are over in August this year many thanks love watching you guys
ive been there taking off graphics on a van it is a rubbish job !! my ex boss was a proper tight git so he then sold off the big renault maxi mover i got the job to take off all the huge graphics he had over it ! nice job tidying that van up !
You guys ever thought about using a toffee wheel for stickers? I use it for double sided tape and stickers. Only downside is you can’t really use it on plastic
I have come full circle the first video I watched was the T5 after I bought one now you have done one of my work van (relay) great content as ever guys
Seen a few ex fleet vans where you can still the lettering coming through , spoils it , you made a nice job there make an ideal camper conversion with that milage .
I rate autoglym tar remover for sticky marks, leave it on for a bit and just melts all sorts of nastiness. It’s probably just rebadged and overpriced simple product, but it works for me and I don’t use much!
Great video as usual guys!👌 in the future use should make another UA-cam channel an both post vlogs on it when use are out on your travels or at car shows would be really interesting 👍
The way things are going in the world, you're doing us all a great service by keeping these vans and cars out of the scrapyard and in the hands of people who can make use of them at an affordable price.

The quick flips always give you a good feeling knowing you will make some money. A job well done Rob and Chris, thank you. 🥕👍👍

rob looks like he is reading the news at the end
....and finally....
Well, he has already done the weather! 😂
And it's goodnight from me and it's goodnight from him 😊
😂
Is that a keeper
Best way to remove the stickers is to use a wallpaper steamer. It heats up the sticker and the panel so it leaves less glue behind 👍🏻
love watching you and chris working together you always seem to have a good laugh while cracking on with the work, the quick flips help the cash flow of the longer projects , its nice to see you guys make a profit as you always take pride in your work how ever big or small the project so the profit is always well earned, thanks for the content guys 👍
This van has been totally transformed, from unloved workhorse, to a very presentable vehicle, ready for many more years of hard work, well done guys😊.
What a cracking van that's going to be for someone. Always love that you're so fair with your prices and honest, fellas.
Glad your surgery has worked for you. I enjoy your videos you work well together. Hard to think Chris used to not like being on camera. Nice genuine men doing good work and not ripping off anyone.

That turned out to be a very nice van. A tidy profit, well deserved 👏
Bit of hard work, amazing transformation, lovely flip that guys nicely done 👏🏻👏🏻
Cat litter is good for oil spills, petrol and a rag for a wipe over but not on tarmac.
Great result for a few days hard work lads. 😎

Great turn around on the van, I think the wheels make the biggest difference.
Good job lads, would be a good candidate for a camper conversion.👍👍👍👍
What a great job. Lovely van for someone just starting out. Agree about autoglym tar remover, works a treat
Salt of the earth motor trader putting value back into the market and helping businesses survive the absolute joke of this UK VAT economy, if it wasn’t for honest genuine businesses supporting each other where the government fails, this country would fold. Good evening Rob and Chris, nice little van there and a good watch. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged
@16:52 this is one of the reasons you know the guys take pride in their work AND workplace. The simple things make all the difference in my eyes 👍
Hahaha - I never saw the part about Rob explaining the leak as I wrote the above as I saw it.
It's very satisfying to do a job like this ,with a bit of time and effort it's transformed a workhorse into a very clean and tidy vehicle with the potential to be converted into a camper or back on the road as a workhorse again .top job chaps as always 👍

Best part of the week is seeing these videos. Both smashing the content. Well in boys!
Hi Rob,Chris I find the best thin for removing glue residue is Autoglym tar remover it leaves a slight powdery finish when it drys so very easy to clean it off properly van looking good cheers
You should do more vans, pickups and commercial vehicles.
I actually find them boring. Would prefer more cars.
I like the commercials because in the end it’s providing someone another way to earn their living..
@@philtucker1224exactly, these lads always like helping others.
They get sick of cleaning tar off them!
Do that way raw acid wheel cleaner aswell beetween 5mm too 10mm off raw acid wheelcleaner in scooshy bottle top rest up with cold water means dont damage stuff

I’ve said it before your best profit is in the buying! Well bought! 👍
Guys I'm car detailer in Australia I use wall paper steamer one with a plastic head on it works great getting rid of glue and all keep up great work
Just bought my 2019 citreon back from insurance for 3k they wrote it off for nothing one of the best vans I've owned getting it repaired thanks to your videos encouraging it!
To get oil stains off your drive, pour some windscreen wash on it and then hose it away. Lifts it straight up.
I am surprised you didn't clean up the inside of the back of the van or replace (maybe from the breakers) the torn cab floor mat and repair/replace the box floor board. Fantastic flip guys !!
Been a while since you had a quick flip !!
Hope it does someone proud that van !!
See you in the next video guys !!
Hi Rob,maybe try getting a set of jaws behind dents on rear corner with a small block of wood.planish from outside with pressure on inside?
We need to see a bit more of your own stuff. I'd love to see a video series of your S1 RST restoration.
Good work though lads. That van looks lovely now 😊👍
those vans are about 8 inches wider than most vans, so you can get a double bed in sideways across the back, ideal camper base
no fuel filter rob [not bad to do, just pull out the l/h h/lamp]
excellent work chaps

I'm glad it was dry for you putting the discs and pads on Rob.
Always like it when you refresh the commercial vehicles, they always look really good after
Halfords bug and tar remover pulls off all decal glue. Used and tested by me. Great stuff for job.
This is my favourite kind of sruk video. Quick flip, good honest work, love it!
Only one thing to say. Easy work, great quick flip. Simply VANTASTIC.
Cheers, BOB
keep up the good work fella's, love the content! something different ALL the time. You can get rubber brushes that fit on a drill. they are said to be very good at cleaning glue residue. 😃😃😃
You certainly polished some money back into the value of that van - great video lads, cracking job done. 👍✊👏
For the spilled oil, use biological washing powder. Scrub it in on a damp day and leave it a while before washing away. It should shift it.
Hi rob and Chris, great job on the van, well done on doing the break dices and pads, many people wouldn't have done that fair play lad's, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
When it come to doing the numbers, you’ll have to add a tenner for the electricity on that heat gun Rob.
Your lecky must be cheep. Mine would cost the same as the van is worth. 🤣🤣
I always put a Tarpaulin under the car when changing oil, it catches any spills or splashes & keeps the driveway clean.
Excellent ~ love these when they are all done in one video, great entertainment guys Thanks again
I'm really glad Chris did those bits of paintwork, even if it's not perfect.
What a great looking van you both made it look completely different it looks great what a great quick turn round great to see you both .
BCA use steamers to remove decals of their commerical vehicles. They turn them around pretty quick. By steamers i mean the generic wallpaper remover thing. Fairly inexpensive would love for you guys to try it next time. Will make a good video to give it a shot.

WD40 would have taken the sticker residue off👍🏻I thought you’d know that with your personalised tin😂
We have a Fiat Ducato 160hp basically same van, i really like to drive it and has been good as gold. Good one guys
wow what a difference that van looks now and that van will fly out the door once it's up for sale as that's a good price can't wait to see more keep them coming guys 👍👍💯💯💯
Perfect motor home project there guys. Sound job well done🙌
When I did a bit of valeting years back, we used paraffin to remove the glue from stickers as well as wax on new motors.
One of the best glue removers you'll find is eucalyptus oil, it also smells great. Common in Australia but I'm not sure if it's available in Pomgolia.
Surgical spirit is great for getting sticker / wrap glue off. £5 a bottle from Boots. Smells great too.
Superb video as usual lads ,WOW it did scrub up amazingly well and 4K for that is bargain central ,just to add Rob like you , i love it when you do these commercials .Thank you
Nice flip guys, big queue forming for this one. Lots of life left in the van at 72k. Keep ‘em coming, trades are desperate for decent, cheap vans👍🇬🇧😎
Can't pinpoint it but definitely something fishy about that van at the start 🤔😂😂 on a serious note, that's one hell of a transformation and very easy money for you 👌🏻 excellent video again chaps 🙂
Well done guys great work on the van will be great for someone who needs a good van for work especially in this climate
Yessss more like this please especially vans. Thanks as usual guys.
i brought my relay fully covered in sign writing also. i infested in a rubber wheel and its amazing then went over with buffer machine cant see a single sticker mark now
Office is a nice little touch to the ending of the videos. 👍
Rob try a caramel wheel it fits on a drill it’s used to get stickers off paint work very good bits of kit
Yeah, that works wonders
Great video Rob and Chris! Fantastic job, van looks like new. For future reference my husband used a caramel wheel to remove decals from his van 👍🏻 Love the channel 😁
They are great for tuff stuff this was only thin sticker residue
👍
Done a good job lads ideal for a camper conversion project ,yeah done a great job lads
Perfect for a someone to do a camper van conversion 👍🏻 its a bargain at £4k for someone especially with new brakes and disks

Miss the extra video each week. Feel a bit disconnected from the channel even though each vid is fab👍 thanks guys
That van looks great Rob! It all helps to put food on the table! Nice job👍
ive been there taking off graphics on a van it is a rubbish job !! my ex boss was a proper tight git so he then sold off the big renault maxi mover i got the job to take off all the huge graphics he had over it ! nice job tidying that van up !
Use acid tone for the adhesive off its the best thing ever but make sure you wipe it off straight away
Absolute top blokes! Always look forward to a Wednesday and Saturday for a vid! Keep them coming
Great video Rob Chris a joy to watch.
You guys ever thought about using a toffee wheel for stickers? I use it for double sided tape and stickers. Only downside is you can’t really use it on plastic
Deffo one for a camper conversion with that mileage and the price, just perfect for it.
I have come full circle the first video I watched was the T5 after I bought one now you have done one of my work van (relay) great content as ever guys

if you want to remove stickers easy try a caramel wheel sticker removal, it is amazingly quick, and does not damage the paint..
Great video as usual guys!👌 in the future use should make another UA-cam channel an both post vlogs on it when use are out on your travels or at car shows would be really interesting 👍
