I’m beginning the process of a Frame Off Restoration and Coyote Swap in my ‘77 F150 SingleCab Shortbed 4x4. You have been and will continue to be a tremendous help while I take on this journey.
My hope would be in under 2 years, that I'm asking you FAQs on Eco-boost swaps. I really want to do that on a build soon. Really cool that you're out there being a voice for Coyote swaps though. Love it! Good idea throwing this video together.
Would you recommend getting help from a mechanic if you don't know how to put a coyote engine or what millage would last longer to drive with engine that would travel longer in distance.
The videos where you guys swap a 3.5 ecoboost into a Ford Ranger has made me wanna swap the same engine and transmission into my 2011 Jeep Wrangler 4 door. Do you have any idea if there are a lot of clearance issues?
I have a 1994 ford f150 xl 5.0 v8 4x4 in a 5 speed manual. I'm thinking about a coyote swap and i want to keep it a manual transmission. My question would be if the 4x4 would go away or is there a way of keeping it?
