When Kugan asked "Why are you depressed after yesterday?" - I don't think thats a question you can ask any depressed individual, because even those that are depressed don't know the answer either.
This is the first interview I've seen from Fury where I've left actually liking the guy. The obnoxious and arrogant Fury is one end of the spectrum, and the version that gets the most media coverage, but the other side is, in my opinion a lot closer to the real guy. Anyone who has experienced depression of any kind will understand what he means when he states that he doesn't care if he wins or loses. He's already fully accepted the outcome, which you learn to do when taking each day as it comes. Win or lose, he'll feel exactly the same - content that it's over. His view on elite athletes and drugs is also a lot closer to the truth than many will choose to believe. Or course, not 'everyone' is supplementing with ped's. It depends on the sport, how much of a factor size or strength has on the outcome, and the culture the athlete is from. But he's right about boxing. He's also right that skill is the deciding factor. And regarding Wlad... that's just common sense.
Fury is ace. Deffo speaks the truth. But he knows how to play the media a treat. Maybe he is sick of being a villain but it's the way he chose to go. It's hard to tell when he is being serious or not as he will literally say one thing to one interviewer then another thing to the next. Personally, I love his interviews and fights. He is just a lad, no media training to come across PC. Just wish he looked after himself more between fights.
Tyson honestly is an excellent example and a role model I mean man works hard and supports the family like Tyson said his wife is a house wife that can chill back and relax coz she is married to a real man
Behind all that trash talking, Tyson Fury is actually a very honest and deep person. I can easily associate myself with him in search of belongingness. Wish him nothing but the best in the rematch against Klitschko.
actually a joke how hes being treated tbf hes undisputed champ of the world and hes barely positiviely mentioned in the media at the end of the day i love AJ probs my fav fighter but if he had beat klit he would probs be Sir Anthony Joshua by now, media is full of arseholes fury is a legend and should be treated like one
+FIGHTFAN30 I thought to my information that the fighter holding the most main sanctioned world title belts is considered the undisputed champion of that weight division until they are defeated or move to a different weight division. From what I know Fury holds the WBA and WBO world titles and before that he held the IBF before they took it from him because they prefer their title in the hands of an American only to have it immediately taken back by Joshua so that was a complete failure anyway. But yh Fury is considered the undisputed champ by the most governing bodies and is ranked number 1 in a lot of hvywght p4p rankings so u decide.
Baffles me how people can dislike Fury, he's his own man and just doesn't give a fuck about anything. Boxing, life, etc.. How people can't accept that is mind boggling
+rob valledy He's not consistent. He says something one day then totally contradicts it the next. He wants respect, but doesn't show any respect to others. The list goes on....
I like this guy! 5 years ago I was for Vladimir when he fouhgt with Haye. But now I really want Fury to win. He is just a wonderful bloke, decent human being.
you're never going to get as real as Tyson Fury what an absolute Legend this man is! I'm proud to have this man in British boxing. Everyone talks about a no personality champion as a role model. This man is a top role model for the state the world is in. He's showing you can be yourself without fear of prejudice. The world would be a better a place with more people, especially in the media limelight who were just themselves! Instead of pumped up steroid freaks who look good and turn youngsters to roids. He's a pure talented fighter and an asset to the UK and world boxing! Keep up the good work Tyson and good luck for the 9th July I'm in your corner.
Chess player Bobby Fisher was very smart but went clinically insane when he tried to explore what is the true meaning of life and what his purpose was on earth. Fisher had reached his goal of being the best chess player in the world and then lost it. Fury may be headed down the exact same path. He achieved his goal as the Heavyweight champion of the world and now what is the purpose?
+bnegs521 this happens to a lot of people, because they have goals that don't mean anything. becoming world champion, becoming a manager at work, owning a farrari, becoming a millionaire, winning the world cup.... many boxers say they become world champion after dreaming of it for so many years, then once they've got it, now what? what was all the fuss about, look at the glenn mccrory thing on sky sport where he talked about his career, he said he dreamt of being a world champion all his life, doing it for him and all his family and his little disabled brother, then he finally did it, and he said, i woke up the next morning, and a part of me had died, and its a part of me I've never got back. your goals in life should be finding an amazing partner you love and adore, raising a wonderful healthy family, having great friends etc etc. all these are what truly matter, and all these goals have no end, you can't complete them, and most of all, they matter. being world champion doesn't matter, as tyson fury says..... so what?
That family shit is good for some but what does that mean in the end either? I was with ya til you went off on your bullshit family rant. Great friends? meh Some of them are great for a while then you never hear form them again. You can have a great family and then that gets boring too. And then when they go off to college or move out then what? Girls these days are ashamed to be out with their parents in public past age 15. Are all the sacrifices worth it? For some yes and for other not so much.
bnegs521 well ok then nothing is worth it. but to me, spending every day for the rest of your life with someone you love and family you love is what life is all about for me. great family never should get boring, kids have kids then you get grandkids. but i see your point, to some, that probably doesn't matter either. i think it does to tyson though, he did say in one of his latest interviews he's trying to find the meaning of life, and he thinks its his family and children. so i think family is a better goal to have in life than becoming world champ. but like you say, to some, even that isn't enough, so really for these, nothings ever enough, theres no real point to anything
I think you are trying to project your values and wants in life and aligning it to what he is saying and I just do not buy it. He has been off for a long while from doing any boxing and he still said that he is depressed, so I do not buy what you are selling because if family is what made him so happy then he would be overjoyed right now but he is not. That is what makes YOUR life tick. Do not project YOUR values on everyone else though. Silly.
bnegs521 well the family side of my comment wasn't even suppose to be my main point, forget i even mentioned it. all i was trying to say, which i think you agreed with, is that silly goals like being world champion aren't that important when you achieve them, they seem meaningless and pointless once you achieve them and really they don't matter much at all, and i think fury is realising this now, whats the point, he's done it, now what. forget my family comments, yes they're my own views, thats why i included them, that and because fury mentioned them in a recent interview he had, saying he's looking for the meaning of life and he thinks it must be his family. thats all, forget i said it......
4:42 "I don't live an extravagant lifestyle" - He turned up to the press conference in Manchester with a G-Wagon, a Rolls Royce Phantom and a Bentley Continental GT...
Tyson is a rough diamond. I was rooting for him last time and was one of the few who gave him a chance and I celebrated his amazing achievement when he proved all his haters wrong. Despite all his conflicted statements and mood swings I could see his fighting instinct, his fluid movement and reflexes, and most of all underlying intent and how hard he worked with Peter for that fight. Also his uncle who is a wise, level headed and pragmatic individual seemed convinced that they were going to do what they did. What worries me now is not only Tyson's physical conditioning 10 weeks before the fight (I am sure he was well on his way to fighting shape by the time for the last fight) but his own uncle, who knows him best as an individual and a fighter, no longer speaking with the same conviction and is calling it a 50/50 fight with a predicted stoppage either way. Better experts than me will know if 10 weeks is really enough time for a fighter like him to get in good enough shape from where he is now, but completely stepping off the gas pedal and blowing up in weight between fights cannot be good (memories of Ricky Hatton.) Seems to me that Tyson's toughest opponent is himself and if he does manage to retain the belts in July I think he should retire undefeated and find some balance in life outside the ring.
I used to, off a few of his more bigoted soundbites, dislike this man but this interview really shows him as a decent but troubled bloke. He is no more nuts than the next bloke, in fact he is smarter and much more honest than average. Tyson really needs a good therapist to help him find meaning and joy in life. I wish him good luck.
The 33 dislikes are from other heavyweight robots who haven't got the ball to be real like a Fury! The guy is a legend, at least he isn't banging his gob off to sell the fight then unexpectedly leg it, he's upfront and honest, no hidden secrets with Fury, respect.
fury needs to realise that lots of people look up to him including me, he is the heavyweight champion of the world, if he is looking for a meaning to life, it is that he is personally motivating all of us.
+Jairzinho121 But you have to understand, he genuinely doesn't care. How would you like it if you were literally living a life that all it was was boxing. You train, you watch it, you get home, you go online, people are tweeting to you about it, you got to do interviews, press conferences. Jesus, I'd hate anything after all that shit. You can't be selfish in asking him to make himself unhappy just because you want him to do what you want. Why can;t you take from him the attitude of, "do what you want, don't let anyone tell you what to do, make yourself happy". All he did was go into Boxing because he liked it and it was a money maker. He didn't want all the responsibility that came with it. Nobody wants it from fame. It's the worst thing ever. Normal opinions that normal people have are blown out of proportion because you're "famous". I'd hate anything after all that shit.
+Zuviox I never asked him to do something to make himself unhappy u idiot, he is already doing it. I'm just saying if you are choosing to do something and you hate it, at least take solace from the fact that millions of people admire your achievements.
Jairzinho121 But that is a very contractory statement? You said you "never asked him to do something to make himself unhappy" yet want him to take "solace from the fact that millions of people admire" him. He doesn't want to do that, so why should he? I wouldn't care if someone was a fan of me. Not my fault, i just don't care. Same as him.
+Zuviox contractory? u mean contradictory?, I'm just saying when he feels low he should try and think about the people that admire him, it's not easy, but for you to say they don't matter and why should he care, I have one question for you, why does he box?
11:25 is the moment I knew Tyson took drugs. He basically made the excuse now, he failed the test , and went on camera to try out his excuse, why Tyson, I'm still a fan , your skills are sublime , but he knows he took drugs
You wouldn't have seen or heard his comment without technology. The guy really means we'll but he has not got a clue about anything that's not a conspiracy theory.

bnegs521 well the family side of my comment wasn't even suppose to be my main point, forget i even mentioned it. all i was trying to say, which i think you agreed with, is that silly goals like being world champion aren't that important when you achieve them, they seem meaningless and pointless once you achieve them and really they don't matter much at all, and i think fury is realising this now, whats the point, he's done it, now what.
forget my family comments, yes they're my own views, thats why i included them, that and because fury mentioned them in a recent interview he had, saying he's looking for the meaning of life and he thinks it must be his family. thats all, forget i said it......
This man is completely lost here , he almost grits his teeth as a smile , so glad he is healthier now as he is the real champ
Miss this version of Fury
11:50 great what he says there, this guy really has it!
4:42 "I don't live an extravagant lifestyle" - He turned up to the press conference in Manchester with a G-Wagon, a Rolls Royce Phantom and a Bentley Continental GT...
So just because you have a nice car means you live an extravagant lifestyle? I don't think you grasp the concept
I like he's honesty, think he is searching for a way to be a better man, nothing wrong with that.
I think Tyson is suffering from manic depressiveness, just love this guy. Tyson nr 1
10:17 brutal. Got to love the man!🤣
This guy is a genius, some of his comments are deep, great fighter.
7.02 is a cry for help i know i welled up depression is bad thing god bless tyson
How can you hate this dude. Down to earth a nice guy entertaining. What more coukd you ask for
The 33 dislikes are from other heavyweight robots who haven't got the ball to be real like a Fury! The guy is a legend, at least he isn't banging his gob off to sell the fight then unexpectedly leg it, he's upfront and honest, no hidden secrets with Fury, respect.
can see how sick he is in this video poor fella was rock bottom
fury needs to realise that lots of people look up to him including me, he is the heavyweight champion of the world, if he is looking for a meaning to life, it is that he is personally motivating all of us.
Jairzinho121 He boxes for the money. He has said all the time.. he does it for a quick few pounds..
i prefer AJ but you gotta love tyson. done so much for British boxing. proper legend
I just love this guy....so open and honest.
Long live Tyson Fury! My soul brother!
11:25 is the moment I knew Tyson took drugs. He basically made the excuse now, he failed the test , and went on camera to try out his excuse, why Tyson, I'm still a fan , your skills are sublime , but he knows he took drugs
I really feel for Tyson here. I think he really does get himself down at times.
+a19patrol Its all an act. Wake up
@@nordicwarrior5014 clown
"i only take cocaine....and weed and ecstacy" 😅😅
"Technology isn't always the answer."
Now that phrase made me kind of like this guy.
You wouldn't have seen or heard his comment without technology. The guy really means we'll but he has not got a clue about anything that's not a conspiracy theory.
+Nevets tbf he was talking about ring IQ and technique rather than social media and video streaming etc none of which will help u in a fight.
Tyson's trolling, even before the first Klitschko fight he was talking about retiring. As long as he's being offered big paydays he'll keep fighting.
+townsjim I think he is sincere but will continue to fight. Bit like Ronnie O'Sullivan
Whats exactly what he said, he’ll fight until he gets beat and can’t get a big payday from a fight
You are a good man Tyson.
Unless I get some big money elsewhere… that was the first wrestling hint !
Watching back why didn't us British boxing fans take him under are arms you can see he is depressed I'm glad he is back and the best
Fucking Love the man, such good value!
Good luck tyson stay in UK your doing it proud being yourself!!!
cant say hes not genuine
what an interview, had everything
