Nice one mate, another great day's wargaming, many thanks as usual. I'm glad you didn't show the casualty box! It was definitely a hard slog and was very to and fro throughout. I think Steffan and I had fought each other to a standstill in the centre, the units he was pulling back had taken huge losses but had completely stalled my attack in doing so.
As ever a Great looking table, Des and an interesting Batrep. Used to play the 1st edition at the South London Warlords Eltham Branch back in the day in 15mm. Always fast flowing & enjoyable. Many Thanks👍
Started going when I was 12 and continued pretty much through to when I left the UK in 2003. It was the Old Guard in those latter days. Very fond memories👍
Your comment about the longevity of these rules is spot on. Next to CrossFire, I’ve been playing these longer than anything else, nearly 30 years and keep going back. The D10 can be frustrating but if you play often enough it evens out I suppose. The WW2 version is also great for multi player games.
Thanks for the comment. Strangely the D10 does seem to even itself out. The Battlefront rules are good too and my mates and I have just started investing some game time playing 1940. HNY

Wow, that takes me back. I use to go to the Eltham branch when I was 16-19 years old. My first proper wargaming!!

Phil, thank you. ACW and FaF have been the spine of my wargaming for a few decades. I really enjoy putting these games on
wonderful looking tables and figs - really enjoyed your video - nice job!
I've always found Shiloh a tough scenario for the confederates and sometimes the dice differentials bite you with F&F!
Cheers. Lots of other videos on the channel so I hope you find some you will be interested in.

Super looking terrain. You're using 10mm buildings?
Yes, works for Brigade FaF and probably would for other rules
