      I've lost 11 hands straight before. Luckily I wasn't using this system. Most I've bet using this system was 5$min and biggest bet was 640$. Playing the 5$ table you can lose quite a bit before you start getting into the low thousands. Every time I'd hit Vegas I would spend 3 to 5 hours playing 5$-10$ BJ at whatever casino I happened to be at , using this system, I'd walk away every time with over 300-500$. I would then take 50-100$ and walk around maxing quarter slots, usually wheel of fortune. Id watch to see who had been playing a while and when they'd leave, I'd hit their machine. Ive won so many low/ mid level jackpots that way playing wheel of fortune. But if the machine doesn't start hitting in 3 to 5 plays, I move to the next one. The 50-100 gets spent all on machines after the BJ table. I keep winning chips in my right pocket and the chips/ cash im willing to lose, that I play with in my left pocket. I haven't been to Vegas in 10 years or so and I've heard that they don't use coins in the machines anymore? Everything is on a card now? Man that sounds horrible! I mean I guess I could stick the card in, max bet 3 to 5 times and either keep playing or pull the card and move along but it seems tedious compared to carrying a bucket of quarters or dollar coins and plopping in 3 then hitting the spin button or pulling the wheel. What's everyone's preference? Coins or cards?

      @@joshualim3941it’s playing odds, it’s not winning only 15, it’s recovering your losses over and over, you can come up hundreds quick with this method, is there a chance to lose 10 hands perpetually? Of course, you’re gambling, but it’s a good system to win quick.

    The great thing about martingale on blackjack is when you hit a blackjack when you are down you get 50% more gains on the same risk. You get way ahead on those, of course that is just a perk and unreliable at best. its all about the slow and steady race and hoping you don't empty your bank before your next win.

  • @briandempsey4291
    @briandempsey4291 4 роки тому +4

    I didn’t count how many hands you won but without the huge double on the last hand, if you played a no double, no split Marty, you would have been up around $300 or so which isn’t a bad day of work in what less than 40 minutes. At the table limits you set $15-5000, you would only be able to Marty 9 times. So you’d only need $7,665 to play. Like I said yesterday it’s all about risk tolerance. $20K at 1% apr. is $200 a year! And the probability of losing 9 hands in a row is 1 in 323. If you’re smart, disciplined, get in and get out, you can make money with the Marty.

    • @kennethso6811
      @kennethso6811 4 роки тому +1

      Brian Dempsey you have a good point. I would modify no split. Only double down on 10 or 11. Thoughts?

    • @briandempsey4291
      @briandempsey4291 4 роки тому +2

      Kenneth So I completely understand the want to double or split in hopes of taking advantage of the small edge to win an extra bet. It does make sense. The only problem with it when using the Martingale is that you lose a bet. If you are betting $5, 10, 20 and on that third bet you double to $40 and lose, your next bet is 80. So you went from your third bet right to your fifth bet. Which means you lost a step in your progression. The Marty is based on basically winning one hand out of a certain number of hands. For me, I’d rather have more chances to win that one hand, than winning a few extra units.
      Now maybe if you only doubled on your first two bets and if you lost stayed with the progression and just accepted the loss of the doubled be. You can make up 1-2 units quickly but if you lost a doubled let’s say 5th step bet 16 units would be harder to recoup. So for me the risk just isn’t worth the reward. If you play the Marty +1 system you will win 1-4 units for each hand won. That should be plenty, there is no need for the added risk.

      I would only double when the dealer doesn't have a 7 or better showing. You need to double to get the odds on the game without it the advantage goes way up for the casino

  • @chrholder
    @chrholder Рік тому

    Let's be real here: You have to double independent how high the bet is, otherwise the house wins more. Also, when you are doubling, you invest your money with a more than 50 percent chance to win. So you won't chase the doubles with martingale, just the base bet. With the splits it is a bit special: lose / lose = double bet, lose / win = keep the same bet, win / win = start over with initial bet. If you double during a split, check whether the split was overall a success, a push or a loose and act accordingly. Thats how I play usually and it makes sense for me.

    It's a good system but it is quite risky especially if the shoe goes south. I personally use it but the lower the table limit the better this can work since your doubles can be slower and given more time

    • @briandempsey4291
      @briandempsey4291 4 роки тому +1

      Patrick Flaven you would hate it. Let’s say you start at $5, when you lost 3 hands you’d be down $30. You would need to win 6 hands without losing 3 in a row again just to be even. The limits on tables usually get you 6-8 Marty bets. Trust me, you will want to have the max amount of times you can bet, you will need it. And yes eventually you will lose it all, so be prepared for that.

    • @patrickflaven6018
      @patrickflaven6018 4 роки тому

      @@briandempsey4291 What about playing even money until you lose 3 hands in a row then start doubling to a maximum of 3 more times? Seems more reasonable that way

    • @briandempsey4291
      @briandempsey4291 4 роки тому

      Patrick Flaven the system could be modified in lots of ways. Losing 3 hands in a row still puts you down 3 units, and you will still need 3 wins to make that up. Let’s say you lose 3 $5 bets then double to 10 on your 4th bet and win, your down $10, then you repeat that, now you’re down $20. Eventually you will lose your starting bankroll. The beauty of the Martingale is that you only need to win once to be even for all of your loses and up 1 unit. And it takes a really bad streak for you to lose it all, which do happen. Same with positive progression, you need to have a really good win streak to make that work well. Like a player streak in baccarat. If you won 10 hands in a row and started at $5 and let it ride each time you would have $5120, but as soon as you lose a hand, you’re down $5. Every system out there can win and lose. You just gotta pick one you like and try it out. Go play on the free casino sites and try them all out and see how they work.

    • @feralshad0w
      @feralshad0w 2 роки тому +1

      Depending on your card strategy, you need to factor in your win percentage. If you are likely to win 33% of the time, you MIGHT get away with it, but the entire principle is about waiting for that single win an reset. If you average a 25% win rate... then you might end up frequency winning after the larger lost. What ever your strategy. Do it 100%. Mixing strategies usually subjects you the disadvantages of those systems while simultaneously removing the advantages of them.

    Skip the Martingale and use the Stearn 3.0 And to be fair you really should be playing perfect Black Jack... Splitting, Doubling and surrendering regardless of where you are in the system. Play at a Quarter table buy in for $3,250 and walk when you are up $500. You will not always win... but over a 1,000 try sample I have a losing session 1 in every 10 sessions. So 9 wins @$500 = $4,500 minus 1 lose @ #3,250 you net on average $1,250 a day when you play 10 sessions a day.

    The way it works is you bet 1 unit, if that bet wins you increase your bet to 2 units. If your second bet wins, you go back down to playing one unit. If your first or second bet loses, you go right to the 1 - 2 - 4 betting sequence, One that sequence is completed you go back down to the 1 - 2,

  • @igor6815

    Hitting 24 reds in roulette or lose about 16 hands in blackjack have so low odds that you're not likely to see it in millions of hands or spins. So if someone had a system than can survive 16 straight losses in blackjack he's very likely to be profitable for life. Ofc there's tiny chance he will lose it but most likely not. And if you add things like stopping after 3 losses and waiting for dealer to bust you actually increase amount of hands needed to hit 16 losses so you're even less likely to fail. In most online casinos you have 0.10 limit for online blackjack and live Blackjack that usually have up to 5k limit and much more in vip rooms. so with already big bankroll you can profit from Martingale.

    Martingale is absolute garbage! Don’t be tricked if you use this you will lose the shirt off your back! Now with that said Martingale is highly effective in sports betting with plus money odds.

    You lose both those doubles and your down 2 grand. And that’s assuming you don’t uo the bet to two 2 thousand the next hand after the double down loss. Which strategy says you do. Then you lose that hand so you have to go 4 grand I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️and pray. Lose that it’s over. I get it’s not perfect but those big doubles kinda make or break ya.

    This system is better with no table limit betting. Most Casinos they have a table limit. Intuation is the best stratigy.
