I hate what has happened too but as a law student i have actually learnt that discrediting a witness will help you win a case so that is the way lawyers work and the system is messed up because of this. This is why there are many innocent people in prison. And of course, people like Zweli and Lindani who lie under oath

At least that is how it is here in America. They do not really care about justice but about making sure their side wins so that they can be voted in again in that position. But since this is just a show and not based on a true story Lindiwe is the star or has the main role in the show. Without her right now the show will die and be no more. If this is the last season of the show doing the end she might go back to court and be found guilty or maybe get killed.
Marylin Franklin in my opinion the verdict here was not because as a lead if found guilty then irs the end. From what i read and understood going for the court case was mainly her getting exposed for her lies and manipulation. The case is done Zweli got compromised so he will have to find a way to deal with Lindiwe Now its here Zweli will find out the truth and it moves forward from there.
