I’m an enormous fan of Parliament Funkadelic and all things P-Funk, George Clinton, Bootsty Collins, Bernie Worrell and the gang - Great songs, unbelievably funky basslines and a healthy dose of psychedelic weirdness.
This one’s an edit of the classic from the 1978 album Funkentelechy Vs. the Placebo Syndrome, which came out on Casablanca. The song’s long enough as it is, but I rearranged things a bit to bring my favourite sections forward.
