Another great. The British folk music wave. His stuff can put me in tears. Thanks, Jas. Hope the Holdsworth interviews from 1980 and 1982 surface, Jas. Thanks, Eric T.
this is really terrific. great question, really good. hard to make out what bert sez a lot, so i'll read the transcript. my beatnik/hippie friends were on to bert from Lucky Sixteen, all the Pentangles, jansch and renbourn. such a great period, a great time to be young. this is a great time to be young. it's always a great time to be old and feel/believe/be young, ageless, timeless, meditative, healthy!
Hi Jas. I have to say I am so pleased you have decided to upload some of these interviews. I read Guitar Player religiously back in the ‘80s. I would read it literally cover to cover. This is very important, historical information and I’m glad it now exists on UA-cam, where I hope it will stay for years to come. Thank you and happy holidays.
Hi Jas,u are a legend too to me. I don't care what kinda music peolpe listens to,but bert is on top there on acoustic songwriter, and guitar player. See ya,from Argentina
Jas, do you know if the audio interview recordings of your friend, the late Jim Crockett, survive from his years w/ Guitar Player? He audio recorded Jim Croce and Maury Muehleisen for his feature on them which is the only interview where they discussed their playing and arranging methods (and accessories: picks etc.). As w/ most interviews, there is, I'm willing to bet. some gold there that didn't make it to publication.

FANTASTIC QUESTIONS
Great interview but it sounds like pulling teeth lol!

Sorry to say, I am not aware of any surviving Jim Crockett interview audio. I'd sure like the hear his interview with Mance Lipscomb!
He was a master of acoustic music. One of the guys whose talent died with him.
