It took me back to my first breakup, when my ex (he and I dated for 3 years) cheated on me and chose my best friend instead. I know, it sounds cliche, but it actually happened! This song reminds me of all the times I cried my eyes out and how long it took me to heal (we broke up 2020). I was soooooo broken hearted, I waited and hoped desperately that he would come back to me. I cried so much and it felt like it would never get better.
