Man, I love you for this video. A lot of the content you're going over is so crucial and helpful to me, so please keep it up and I'll continue to share with friends who're also dabbing in the Unreals! Thank you so much
@CodeWithRo I appreciate it! Currently, I'm just running through the exorbitant amount of BPs there are and trying to understand each's functionality and purpose. As a creative minded person, it's been a whole dive into this more logic-based system and also learning the "vocabulary" to be able to "write functioning sentences. " If you're ever open to explaining the syntax of several crucial BPs that you find that will always be useful, or just helping create a foundational understanding of BPs, please feel free to tackle something of that caliber (Pretty sure whatever is used is definitely case-by-case basis). Otherwise, what you cover and are driven to explain will always see relevance, especially with the sheer amount of people that are using UE. Cheers!
Thanks for these videos that are covering EXACTLY what I was looking for: creating a motion controller for the synty animations in Unreal. One question I had was what was your reasoning for using the Root Motion versions of the animations? I'm still coming to grips with the differences between regular and root motion so any insight you have would be super helpful.
Thank you very much for this useful tutorial. Simple and short, yet very informative. 👌 I just cannot figure out how to get the animation blueprint to work for my other Synty packs. With other character meshes it just wobbles in a t pose. Any hints on what I should be looking for? I have already made the skeleton of the animation pack compatible with the specific Synty packs.
As soon as i finish up the patreon requests ill go ahead and tackle this one! you can make a tutorial request via discord to make sure i dont forget haha! Thank you!

@@drprofhazzmatt82 root motion set to true means that the animation will drive the movement 🥳

I would recommend reassigning the skeleton to the one with working animations since synty skeletons are the same 🥳
This is very cool. May I request tutorials for switch 3 different weapons with a button press?

@@CodeWithRo Thank you, I joined your discord.
how would you use back left,BR,FL,FR animations?
After adding them to the blendspace you can use strafe to utilize these! 🤩
hi how did you export the character to unreal engine! great job thanks🙂
@@fntasticStudiosit hey there! I just dragged in the character folder 🥹
@@fntasticStudiosit and thank you so much! 😊
@@CodeWithRo thank you very much, will you also make a tutorial on the sword animations?
@@fntasticStudiosit YES I WILL!!! :D
This is great, but can I just use the built in Unreal motion matching with Synty assets?
Im sure it's doable and maybe ill make that into a video too! 🥹
