Just visited the Greenroom136 pop up store in KL. Super impressed by the design and quality of their stuff! Top materials and workmanship I simply couldn’t fault! The design of their products is amazing, and the value proposition is impossible to beat! I’ve been someone who usually goes for top quality stuff that tends to be Made In USA, but kudos to this small operation, which is putting out some amazing gear. Picked up a Metromonger and some additional knick knacks and am super excited to load it out and see how it goes. Really comfortable and perfect size for minimal urban EDC. The strap set up and the comfort from the strap and breathable padding are great. Enough organization, without going overboard. The guy who mans the WhatsApp on their website was also super helpful. I have a feeling I have a new addiction!
This bag is pretty cool, but what would be really fantastic is if you could have your wife demonstrate the cross body carry of sling bags you review. I love slings, but as a woman, they can sometimes be uncomfortable across the chest. I have the Peak Design Everyday Sling, which I love, but I much prefer wearing it in the winter when I'm wearing a coat. From your video, it looks like the Metromonger has a really thick wide strap. I have reservations ordering it because I don't think that will be too comfortable, especially in the summer when wearing thin shirts. Glad I found your channel. Love the in-depth reviews. I think I'm going to order the Timbuk2 Command Messenger based on your recent video. Cheers!
Just ordered through ur link on ur page. Thanks for the reviews. I got the Rainmaker a few months ago as well. Extremely happy with that bag. Perfect for NYC
Nice bag. I wish I could tell more about the optional/accessory strap option from looking at the site. I'd also love to see you do a review/presentation of their 'Junkmonkey' bag. (And I'll put in another request, as a one-bag travel option, for a review of the Vanquest Skycap!)
If you leave that sternum strap hooked in it makes the on and off much easier. I used a large sling bag with a ton of weight in it like that. You can grab it like a backpack and sling it over your shoulder and clip in the other side on the go. Try it out bro. Keep those business papers straight bud! Dig it!!
Yes. I just checked out their bags. I'm planning to get a Rainmaker Tactical Custom Bag for days that I don't need my GR2( A great bag that i have been using as EDC since 2012.)
Great brand with life time warranty. They started out almost the same year as Goruck. Own few of their packs and accessories. Very solid quality with customisation to my taste. Good luck with your searches
Don Cresswell This is a mum and pop type of shop, so you won’t find it at major retail shops everywhere. From their website you can see they have three retail locations. “Pop by Jaya One” is their main retail corner. However it’s more interesting to order online and chat with the creator to customise according to your taste. Use Chase’s link to give him the support.
I'm wondering if this would be good for a Canon 5dmk3 with a 24-70 zoom plus a 35mm lens? It's tough getting these bags w/o being able to try them out! I'm in NYC. Right now I'm using the Think Tank Change Up V2 but it isn't great for bouncing around pre-shoot
Man this bag looks cool, but I wish they'd explain in a lot more detail the differences between all their strap options. The one shown here doesn't look like anything shown on the website (understandable after 5 years), but they've got like at least 6 slightly different options, and it's really hard to understand precisely how each one works
Love this brand , great value for money...........I live in Singapore , but have my business in Johor Bahru (Malaysia), so easy for me to add a couple to my collection.
Another great review, Chase! (Though I would still LOVE to see a Tom Bihn Brainbag review :P (off of which I will make my decision to purchase it or not))
Hey Chase, Love ur vids as u have knack on doing this videos reviews on bags. Just a thought, a request..how about review on OrbitGear bags especially R101F-MAGBK "Commuter” And MOD201-SPBK “OG Sling”?
Hey man, checkout HAZARD4 , i own the watson sling and its soooo functional and comfortable, its a lot like this one but with a more tactical look but check it out, you wont be dissapointed
strap is thicc! a little too thicc. edit: i have soo much peak design stuff... i wish one day they'll make the 5l just big enough for my ipad pro 10 inch and i'll be totally happy.

Comfortable, robust, and sturdy. I kept waiting for "solid materials" but I'm happy that your vocabulary is improving. :)

Did you see that YNOT is making a couple sizes of slings? I'm interested in those boys and their camera inserts.
Really good review. Could you do a video comparing backpacks and messenger bags and which is best for the situation and the person’s needs?
I'm from Malaysia and this is the first time hearing this brand. I'm going to buy one now!

Hello Chase, awesome video, do you know if the bag is waterproof? Because it doesn’t look like it is :(
sling looks great! I wish they were available on Amazon or some online ship besides the manufacturer's site.
Rom They used to sell at Amazon. The shop is accepting PayPal and provide free shipping for purchase amount exceeding MYR600 (about USD 150).
