"Kim" Novak was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 13, 1933. Both her parents were of Czech descent. She is an American retired film and television actress and is celebrating her 88th birthday today, February 13, 2021. Novak began her film career in 1954 after signing with Columbia Pictures, starring in many movies, including (1955), (1955) and (1957). She is widely known for her performance as Madeleine Elster/Judy Barton in Alfred Hitchcock's thriller (1958) with James Stewart.
She made it to 90 and pretty sure she's attending the TCM cruise in November. Just rewatched her interview with the one and only Robert Osborne. So delightful and insightful.
Kim is much more earthy, and grounded than I ever expected. A chunk of her career was sex pot roles, and Playboy centerfolds. She has a unique presence on film. Her personality in conversation is just as unique.
My mom watched all of your movies Kim and I was always with her as far as I could remember. My favorite was the with Gary Stewart and Bell Book and Candle. Not sure if you are still around/ /but to me you are/were/ a great actress.
I love Kim since I was 16 in my country Cuba . Am now 79.
Kim is truly one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen. Plus intelligent and articulate.

I love her voice
Still beautiful Kim, sorry they treated y'all like they did , God Bless You
Her voice is deep and sexy. Reminds me of Kathleen Turner’s when she was just starting out. Accent and breathy quality are so similar.

A mesmerizing woman indeed, exotically beautiful.
Born 1933. Hard to believe that she was almost 50 when she gave this interview. Somewhere between 10 and 15 years since she had retired.
Love Kim since I see Vertigo, sublime human, Hitchcock a true love, the most spetacular.

She had that little extra. Another actress who is like her is Lee Remick.

The last seconds are an iconic intro to a famous jazz recording. I'll give you all a hint: AB by MD.
England must have been freezing, going by the luscious Kim Novak's attire! Wow! what a beaut! Never disappointed me through out her career.
If she stayed in Hollywood she'd been to rehab, married three four times, botox look like alien, and Broke men took her money.she did right thing
Botox look like alien...is exactly what she looks like...too much liftings!!
You can't predict a person's life !!!
One beautiful lady throughout her career... even making an appearance on Star Trek, that Kirk gets all the best women!
Kim Novak wasn't in Star Trek, you're thinking of Nancy Kovak (no relation).
Can you imagine how hard that can be to an outside like james dean
