I like how the first thing you do is 'no shut' the interface and then, after finishing the config, 'no shut' again! I do that unconciously almost always! Thanks for the video!
you didnt talk about what VNI or VTEP or VTI is not even Flood and Learn which is considered as basic concepts in VXLAN but over all its a nice view on how simple the basic configuration can be for it to work .
Very nice info..if you can slow the configuration part..it would be even more helpful for those who are watching the video first time..anyways thanks for making the video...
I´d like to know if you asign a vn-segment to a vlan, what happen if you want to use more than 4096 VNIs how do you use the 16 million availables VNIs.
No dot1q vlan tags are nothing to to do with vxlan VNI. What can be done though is you can encapsulate dot1q tagged frames inside the Ip udp frame with vxlan header so you transport a tagged frame across an IP network on the destination vtep the vxlan LAN headers get de-encamped but you will forward based on vlan then
DCNM essentially applies the same conseprs with an added benefit of dynamic assignments it keeps in the local LDAP. We can do a demonstration on your equipment.
I assume you have it running in the company lab or production. We can look at your implementation there. Or is this just four educational purposes in your personal lab?

Very good explanation regarding why we need VxLan instead of using 802.1q.
Thank you Sie .. for simplifying and presenting it for our Understanding ...
Excellent video. I started learning VxLAN because of this video. Thankyou Sir
The best video on setting the foundation right for bigger vxlan discussions . Thank you for making this video .
Shanmugam
The description was so simple and great! Thank you !
Thank you so much for this explanation!
superb explanation. after looking some videos this is the best to understand easily
I became fan of yours..what a beautiful way to explain the concept..Thank you sir for this video.
Awesome explanation and presentation. One of the best. Thanks.
Great explanation
Great stuff Sir and thanks very much for this great video. I really appreciate your time and effort on this.
Very Nice explaination
Great video and explanations! Thank you!

2021: what are now the options to handle BUM besides multicast? thanks for your response, great video.
Informative and a good start to learn Vxlan from basic
Appreciate the video! It's very helpful... but I think you can slow down just a tad. Sounds like me when I've had too much coffee!
Fantastic explanation!
Very nice job. Well done! Keep'em coming!!!!
Excellent, I like this video very much
Excellent explanation in short video.. Thanks..

Just watch it slower
Thank you. Excellent explanation

Excellent video!!Gongrats!!
Excellent explanation
不错。简单易懂。赞!
Excellent job
I have error , when ingress replication command is not found....
i'm using cisco virl for simulation....
what should i do to fix?
nice video
That's Neat & Sharp !! Thank you :)
Nice n clear. Good job.
I wish VXLAN could replace spanning tree completely.
is it like to achieve evpn , vxlan or geneve is used
So basically these are like spines. How would you configure leaves to add to this?
wish program do you have used to record videos??
Excellent
question: say you're connecting a catalyst switch's dot1q trunk, will the same happen? like encapsulation in the ingress and decaps at egress?

can i use few vlans and pass them through vni 10002 ? for example take vlan 02 03 and 04 and pass all of then through the same vni ?
You could. It's not a typical use case though.
You can create multiple vnis and create same vlans for each vni !! Vni 10002 can have vlan 2 and vni 10003 can have vlan2 !!
nice..please make more videos
Nice!!!
Can you do a video on how to configure vxlan and evpn with DCNM.
DCNM essentially applies the same conseprs with an added benefit of dynamic assignments it keeps in the local LDAP. We can do a demonstration on your equipment.
Cool. I tried to get it working on my 9000v but no success. My equipment or your equipment?
I assume you have it running in the company lab or production. We can look at your implementation there. Or is this just four educational purposes in your personal lab?
Its personal. I'm trying to get it running on a Nexus virtual 9000v. Or maybe I can achieve the same thing using Nexus Fabric Manager
Как шикарно, все доходчиво и просто
Awesome.
Awesome
good
Nice video, but too go too fast, you type way faster than I can read and take in!
Try using the pause botton.
Oh, I did, many times :)
too fast dude.
Great explanation
